hello!

trying to plan a trip- probably 5 days- looking for the lowest crowds and/or best deals.

two options for us are going over mlk weekend in jan and staying a couple of extra days, or at the end of april/beginning of may (like the 28th-3rd).

any thoughts on these two times? would mlk weekend be better because it's january, or will the long weekend outweigh these benefits?

thanks!!

Hi! You didn't mention September as an option, but that's when we go each year. It's one of the least expensive times of year (at least from a DVC point of view) and it's never crowded at all. Unfortunately, if are bringing children, then the whole school thing makes September bad timing.

MLK weekend is pretty crowded -- I know because it's around my birthday and we've only visited WDW once at that time. Too crowded for me.

End of April/beginning of May is a really nice time. You miss the spring break/Easter crowds and the Memorial Day weekend crowds at the end of May. One of my favorite times to visit. :goodvibes

thanks for the input. i actually have been in september (and it was fabulous) but we're looking to go in the first half of next year for a variety of reasons (the biggest being that dd turns 3 in may). :-)
my mom is a teacher but does have some personal days so we're looking to tack a few of those onto a weekend during a less crowded time that works for everyone...
