Tonight on the Travel Channel at 6:00pm. The show is titled
"Undiscovered Walt Disney World" It's about unknown sites, untried attractions, and a birds eye view. I don't think I have seen this one yet so I'll be watching!! :happytv:

Hmmm... that one doesn't sound familiar. I'll have to tune in!!

I am bummed because I will have to miss it. We have a birthday party to go to. I am sure they will run it again. I hope.

Thank you Smileybug for the wonderful info. I can't wait to watch it.

Animal Kingdom show (previously shown) is on after that. I think the first show is from 2003, AK is from 2002.

I love it when the travel channel has disney stuff on...even if it's ones I have seen tons before-no matter, I enjoy them over and over.

This one though, I think I may have seen it--but only a few times. I think if you participate in netflix program they might have these available for rent. I might have to check that out :thumbsup2

uh-oh--it is on the same time as the cb (community board)is having an update on the "secret project"...I know, I will drag my laptop in front of the tv and have the best of both popcorn::

Thanks for the update!

Unfortunately, I do believe this is the exact same one that has been shown so so so many times before. It was filmed even before the HCOE.

I love the shows but, it's a shame they don't update it more often. If I were Disney I think I'd require them to update it (if they can depending on rights) to keep showing it as it is promotion for the parks and some of it is incorrect and outdated, including attractions that don't even exist any longer and new attractions that were not completed on that one.

In fact, I think this is one of the ones that shows Mission Space still being built.

Yeah - youre right - it is.

I agree - update these shows. Keep 'em current. There's a whole slew of Disney-ites out there who would be willing to PAY for a Disney "adult" (and I dont mean THAT) channel. With travel tips, and shows like this.

Heck - I'd pay for that stupid in-room one, with the park hours, if I could have it at home!!! :lmao:

Anyone ever see the "Modern Marvels: Disney" one??? It was like 2hours long - so good!!! :thumbsup2 (see: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/modernmarvels.html)

I actually haven't seen this one, so I'll be tuning in! Thanks to the OP! :thumbsup2

As annoying as it get sometimes (namely the current one), I'd DEFINATELY pay for that channel to run 24/7 just to sort of get that Disney home experience.

I was so thinking of packing a DVD recorder just to have a few of the channels to play at home. :rolleyes1

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a Disney channel like the old Disney Channel, where you would see classic Disney movies and shorts, films of the opening of Disneyland and WDW's parks, etc?

Hooray! Maybe DD will watch with me, instead of Suite Life of Zack and Cody re-runs!

I was just thinking about this myself!

Just checked tv listings it is also on the 4th at 4pm on the travel channel again. And the Animal Kingdom is on before it at 3pm. This is Central Time.
Enjoy I have it scheduled to record.

This one has been runnning for a few yrs, yet i try to catch it everytime it airs. I also have it on tape.. And, just an FYI if you have seen the Modern Marvels episoce about WDW, the dvd the episode is sold at WDW now. I wish these travel channel episodes about the parks and the Great Hotel shows featuring the wdw resorts were available on dvd.

It's a very good special, but when I saw it, I laughed at how many time they said, "Very few people know about this." I was thinking, "All the people on the DIS boards seem to know..."
