I am currently on hemodialysis, but am switching to PD in the next few weeks. My family and I will be in WDW in November. Will Disney resorts accept delivery of medical supplies? I will be bringing the cycler with me. Has anyone done this? Please let me know how it worked out or if you found that there were any problems with travel on PD. Any advice or travel tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can have things shipped to your hotel. Take the cycler with you onboard the plane and store it in the overhead compartment if you can. Any medical supplies and aids do not count toward carry on weight or limits. ECVs, wheelchairs, special bedding, machines, testing equipement and special foods are among the things that are free from limits and being charged a fee.

When you get to the boarding area tell them you need to board first so you can put your cycler in the overhead compartment. Not familiar with that equipment but if you send it through regular baggage you should pack it like you were shipping it via Air Gorilla.

Work with your supplier. They will be able to ship the items directly to your Resort or coordinate with a local supplier to make deliveries to you. This is probably a lot better/safe than your handling the shipping yourself.
