WDW on actualy Christmas morning?

I have read back on certain post, but I would really love to hear what WDW does Christmas day? I have read the lights and parades are worth seeing. The music its self sounds wonderful.
I would love to spend Christmas in WDW. My feelings, as selfish as it may be to the rest of the family members - would love to have Christmas with just the three of us. I would like to avoid shopping for gifts, setting up the tree, fighting with the lights, the diners, socials, automatic reciprocating gifts, etc. Please no flames-I LOVE Christmas . Just this year I would like an all-inclusive Christmas . We spend so much during the holidays for meaningless gifts that this year I would like it to go to some great memories.
I have to justify this Christmas trip because of funding. Technically, we have already had our vacation for this year. However, a family wedding isn't exactly a family vacation for us.

I would LOVE to spend Christmas at WDW but DH and DS's 11 and 13 are not falling for it!?!?!

My parents & sister were there on Christmas day 2003. They said it was the busiest day they'd ever seen (historically it's either the busiest, or one of the top three busiest days at the park) and nothing out of the ordinary was done. Now, it's possible that there was something really special, but they missed it due to crowds. Either way, I'd avoid it. Now, the Christmas spirit is there for *weeks* before the actual holiday, so why not go the week before Christmas?

We went during Christmas 2003 and had a ball. We thought it was a lot less stressful than cooking, getting together with family, etc.. Those things are nice, but they are stressful and tiring. We spent the trip together (4 of us) and had a magical holiday. We stayed at Pop Century and decorated our room with lights, a tiny tree, and very few gifts. We gave each other a samll token, but the vacation was our gift. Yes, Disney was VERY crowded and the park actually stopped letting people in, but we were happy to be together. We watched the Christmas parade, loved the lights, snow, and music. It was great.

We go to the parks for Christmas every year and it is usually pretty busy. Last year was odd in the fact that it rained all day so most people were trying to stay inside. Granted we just drive over from our house so we don't know what the resorts are like during this time.

christmas day is one of the busiest days in the park. Why not go in early Dec?
The parks are decorated for the holidays with lights and music from Thanksgiving on, and the first twoweeks of Dec are value season, i.e. lower cost and less crowded. Thus, you still get the holiday experience without the cost and the crowds.

Our first trip to WDW is Dec. 17- Dec. 26. We are going over Christmas for the exact same reasons you listed. Christmas day at MK is supposed to be crazy busy, but you don't have to be at MK on that day. I have subscribed to Tour Guide Mike and am waiting for his "Surviving Christmas Week" info for '05. It prob won't be out for a while but I have been doing a lot of research and have read so much about fantastic Christmas trips that I'm really really looking forward to it. Lots of people seem to do MK on Christmas eve and then AK on Christmas morning.
