Magic Kingdom Observations:

Not everyone shares their seat on the monorail.

Cold tuesday mornings are a good time to go to MK.

The parking attendant will notice if your car has a flat tire (ours did).

They encourage you to sign your ticket by having ticket signing stations
before you enter MK.

Walked on Pooh, Snow White, Peter Pan, haunted Mansion, Big Thunder,
Splash Mtn, Pirates, had time for a citrus swirl, Buzz, Stitch, Space Mtn,
TTA (twice) and COP by 12 noon.

Some women don’t have a clue. 4 inch spike heels are not the thing to wear
to a theme park. She was not looking very comfortable either.

You don’t get too wet on Splash mtn if you are the only ones on it and you’re sitting in the back seat.

They don’t open the Jungle cruise until 10 am. So if you get there at 10:15
there is already a 25 minute wait.

Knocking on the door of the Haunted Mansion does not get you in any faster.

Epcot Observations:

My son liked Beverly. Are we really related? Was he switched at birth?

Mission Space had no wait at 5:30pm on a tuesday. Test Track still had fast
passes with return time only an hour away.

If you are stupid enough to steal a couple pair of bug eyes from AK, try to
remember to remove them from your backpack before you get to security
to enter Epcot. They will be confiscated. :3dglasses

Illuminations cruises have blankets for cold nights. The show always give
me goose bumps.

MGM Observations:

45 degree mornings attract few crowds. With no lines even to enter the
park. :cold:

They don’t open fastpass machines when there is no one in the parks.

Don’t go to Star Tours right after Indiana Jones lets out.

Rockin Roller Coaster is getting rough even in the front seat.

Some mothers will change a child's diaper out in public on a bench.

The backstage tour does not use volunteers on really cold days. They didn’t
want folks to get wet. They demonstrate the effects only.

It is possible to get into the top 10 at Millionaire even if you miss a question.

Funny Story: Lady & child sitting next to us at Millionaire. Contestant uses
the phone a complete stranger. The person on the line turns out to be this
lady’s husband (sitting next to us). She was surprised. Her young child
was shouting out Daddy to her fathers voice.

AK Observations:

There is an area in back of Tusker House with the sounds of the kitchen
bustle and plates breaking.

Kali Rapids...sometimes you get lucky and don’t get wet.

Move over to the end of the row as directed in “It’s tough to be a bug” and
maybe no one will step on your feet trying to get past.

It is possible to stay at AK until closing and still not see everything. We
missed the bird show and didn’t go in any shops.

Primeval Whirl can give you bruises (at least it gave me bruises). But I still
went on it twice.

Saw Wes palm, DeVine and the talking garbage can at Conservation Station.

Conservation Station rest rooms are noisy. You can’t hear yourself think
will all the animal sounds and the hand dryers that sound like tornados.

Various Observations:

To get into the parks you give them a bone scan, they want a signature, a
hand stamp when you leave, when will they want your DNA?

Lost in DisneyWorld
Overheard: family talking to CM at MK monorail stop, the side that was
heading to the Transportation and Ticket Center, asking if the monorail
went to the MK. CM telling them they were at the MK. Family insisting
they needed to get to the MK on the other side of the lake. Cm: “This is
the MK”. Conversation went downhill from there. :confused3

you had a great time I believe......any good restaurants taht you went to? Did you get to do everything that you wanted to do.? thanks for the report

I believe Beverly is the biter tasting Italian soda in the CocaCola Cool Station (Igloo) which is NOT cold inside during cold weather. :)

I was in WDW the same week and saw many of your observations!!!

OOOHHH! I can still remember my first encounter with that nasty stuff! :earseek: My wonderful DH gave me some one trip. I still haven't gotten him back for that one!!!

:hourglass

Thanks for those observations! We were thinking of next trip heading down to WDW at that same time...sounds right up my alley!

Yes, we did everything that we wanted, most things multiple times. Had some great meals. Went to Boma for the first time, I will be going there again in the future. We ate at Norway (which is a favorite), unfortunately they will be changing it to a character meal which I have no interest in so this will be our last time there. Also had a Fantasmic Dinner Pkg at Hollywood and Vine. This place never disappoints.
Columbia harbor house was great, we were the only ones sitting upstairs. The food was very good. We also ate at Cosmic Rays, Tangierine cafe at Morocco, Fast food in Japan, ABC Commissary in MGM and Tusker House in AK. Most everything was great.
