WDW Nuts: Mickey Soap

They are now blue colored I think. But they still have Mickey on them

Those are cool. I always would hide the soaps in my suitcase to make sure we always got new ones. I do use them once we are home-this way it extends our WDW experience.

What is the difference between these products and the soap that was given before. I am just assuming that they changed the packaging? does the round "soap" have the mickey head on it?

But, tellme this.... How many of you hoard the soap and NEVER use it??? I don't and I am not sure why!!? I have a secret stash from our visits and the DCL, but I have yetto use it! I must be psychologically saving it for something REALLY important!!?? But what???:rotfl:

Are we going to be missing out on a WDW treat? We are taking our first trip on site and will be in the Fort Wilderness Campground in our own travel trailer. No Mickey soaps for us?

I love that new soap! I usually just make a pile on the tv area and they still leave a new one each day. I come home with them and use them in my bathroom, open a fresh one for guests each time, looks so nice. I also have donated in the past, would love to find a strictly kids place to take them too. I'll be hunting for one soon! I can see the smile they would bring.

I haven't bought soap in years! Literally. The shampoo I don't like at all though.

My dd12 confiscated all soap, lotion and shampoo each day of our cruise. At home she has a drawer FULL of the stuff. She has now hidden it from me because I let her ds use a shampoo one night when we were out!! The girl loves  her Disney sample products!!

sssssshhhhhhhh! don't tell her but I know where she stashed it. After all, I am the mom!:rolleyes1

This cracked me up cause I do this too. I love my mickey soap bars, I hate to even open the wrappers I like to just keep them as is so everytime I open the top drawer in my bathroom I see them and it brings back wonderful memories from our trip :)

I have the shampoos and soap from 83 when my parents took my nieces:cool1: and a co worker gave me some soaps and shampoos when they went in the 90's :yay: and a friend just gave me a facial bar of soap she just got in a store this weekend:thumbsup2 I even have a sewing kit from the 83 trip this year we go and plan to hoard as much as we can i don't use it it is in the mickey bathroom and bedroom the H20 new ones might work in the sea/fish bathroom that would be cool can't wait to get there my 6yr grand nephew doesn't understand not using the soap or not playing with the mickey toys:confused3 he'll learn he's can't wait to see mickey :cheer2:

Just came back two weeks ago...

The round soaps DO have a mickey head on it. There are two different sizes of the soap-- the bath one is slightly larger.

The soap and shampoo is definitely different from the old stuff.

My husband hates that I hoard the stuff-- he'll rip it open at the hotel just to spite me!

I'll be sure to grab mine before my DH gets to it.

Thanks for the info. I have something to look forward to when we go in July. My DH complained last year when I brought all the soap home.:lmao:

Just recently, I began bringing the little bottles of Mickey lotion to work. It's verrrrrry dry here in the Chicago area for winter and the little bottles are easy to bring to work.

The other morning, at roll call, I was putting some Mickey lotion on my very dry hands. Someone commented on it being Disney (since I'm known as the Disney Nut) lotion and then it got passed around for everyone to try.

One guy said, "This is really good stuff. Smells great, rubs right in, not too sticky or slick. Hey, this "Mouse Juice" is great!"

Now it's known as Mouse Juice at work....

I have a TON of Mickey Soaps, the little bottles of shampoo, and I even have a SPOON from OHANA..(I didn't steal it..I promise) DD had one of the icee buckets and she was no where done with it when we were ready to leave so the "cousin" told us to take it with us and leave it in the room for Mousekeeping..well we went to a park afterwards so we threw the empty bucket in the bottom of the stroller and DH stuck the spoon in his cargo pocket of his shorts and I forgot about it and found it when we came home.:rotfl:
