DH is always very disappointed with how things are handled at WDW for a dad with small daughters. Due to sicknesses, he had to take the girls to the parks solo several times. First, our 4yr old is very observant and asks lots of questions about why men are standing with their pants down... While women think it's cute, men give weird looks when she sings in there (think Monster's Inc...) Next, he used the baby center at the Magic Kingdom to change the baby but was highly disappointed that he could not take the 4yr old in the bathroom. Apparently they don't see men in there. Ever. They told him he had to take her out to the men's restroom where he found nasty poop-smeared toilets. Where available, men's room changing tables are also gross. There are very few companion restrooms and they are usually occupied.

I don't know about the baby care center part b/c we have not used them.

But I'm confused about the rest. How is it Disney's fault that your daughter is asking (an innocent) question about why men have their pants down a bit while they use the bathroom? That's a normal and appropriate use of a urinal for men. Surely she sees your husband pee at home?

How do you know someone was annoyed by her singing? I just don't understand this post.

Why didn't he just use the family restrooms? They are usually located right next to the mens and ladies rooms.

There are plenty of family restrooms available for him to use if he wasn't pleased with having to take her in the men's room.

Completely untrue. The only place in that babycare center men are not "allowed" is the nursing room. The center is OFTEN staffed by male CM's. We have used the Babycare center for years and have seen lots of men in there. Did your husband mention to a CM about the "smeared" toilet? I will say in over 20 years of visiting WDW I have never seen that.

This is true about baby center. My husband used them often when our dd was younger.
I also wonder how you know women find your daughters singing cute but men don't?

Men with their pants down?! As soon as my boys are old enough to pee and stand, DH teaches them the proper way to pee at a urinal, without exposing himself. He's also taken girls into the mens room many places, and just guided them right to the stalls, and then right to the sinks.

My husband used changing tables just fine in men's restroom all over Disney, in fact sometimes there was a longer line for the changing table in the men's room than the woman's. And he has never had a problem in the baby centers. :confused3
