I understand that drinking at a bar and experiencing the "adult" nightlife isn't necessarily what most WDW fanatics care about when it comes to on-property activities. But, believe it or not, there are people out there that want to bring back the drunken debauchery that Pleasure Island used to harbor.
Personally, I am one of those people that enjoys WDW after the parks close just as much as the park attractions. To me, the 4 main parks are just a small fraction of what WDW has to offer. Plus, being a single guy always on the prowl...um, I mean "lookout"...for my perfect female match, what better way to meet other single Disney fans than at the local WDW watering holes?
I'm brand new to the DisBoards, although I've been involved in the Disney social scene for a while. I've seen a few posts on here about singles visiting the parks, but I'm wondering who else out there is interested in getting together with other singles at a resort lounge. Having organized many singles events in WDW, I've noticed that many single Disney fans are interested in drinking, or even going to lounges at the resorts.
I want to know how many of you are hardcore about having a good time. How many of you miss Pleasure Island? How many of you don't mind paying Disney prices for drinks? It's time to come out of the woodwork! We are Disney fans...and we like to get drunk! There, I said it. Now who's with me?
