Lots of time before our next trip I know - but this keeps me in the Disney mood until we go back.

My questions are:

When will the airlines release their prices for May 2012 (I want to make sure I start looking for airfare early as our dates have not been confirmed yet and I want to be able to take advantage of a seat sale as soon as a sale is announced). We'd prefer to fly out of Moncton or Halifax - but if the savings are considerable flying from the US we would consider Portland or Bangor as options - but the thought of 8-10 hours driving to/from is not something I would look forward to.

When can I book my stay @ Disney? (i.e How far out can I book?) We'll be staying on-site, probably Pop Century, and hoping for 2 adjoining rooms as my daughter and her best friend will be accompanying us to celebrate their HS Graduation.

The earliest we have been able to book our flights is 11 months in advance. In the past Disney usually allowed you to book a year out. Not sure that has changed or not as we haven't been down to WDW in 14 months.:surfweb:

Of the airlines I follow, Air Canada books the furthest out (right now to Nov 24 2011), United is a little less (now showing flights to Nov 2 2011), Westjet is less, and some like Southwest, much less, like 6 months or so. I don't use Southwest so I may be wrong there.

Disney typically releases the next year's rates in late August, so depending when you want to go, you've got lots of time, or not so much time to book. On the good side you can book a room only reservation for the next year and when the new rates come out they'll apply them to your reservation. Very handy if you go in the early part of the year. When we went last Christmas, we booked in September, about 15 months out!:)
