WDW Marathon Stroller Division for 5K?

I was reading the 2015 WDW Marathon info and found something that said

"Family 5K Fun Run:

Thursday, January 9, 2014 6:30am

Entire 3.1 mile course takes place in the Epcot theme park. This is a great chance for families to run together! If you've got a little one that's not quite up to running that far, try out the Stroller Walk Division!"

We will have three little ones by then (we have two now) and would LOVE to pop them in a stroller rather than hiring a sitter. Any idea whether this actually exists? I had read previously that strollers were not permitted.

Per the runDisney site (Marathon Weekend > Registration > Eligibility) it says:

"For everyone's safety, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, bicycles, skateboards, canes, crutches, walkers, walking sticks and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course. Violators will be removed from the course and transported to the finish line area." (emphasis added)

Unless runDisney explicitly announces any changes, I would take that to be their position on it. You might still keep an eye out as the official page is littered with typos and I would assume still being worked on; or you could call or e-mail runDisney directly to inquire about it. Other than that, though, I'd take the above to be their position until they officially say anything different.

I would trust the runDisney site over the info posted on the Dis, assuming the Dis info was copy/pasted from a prior year. If you look at the FAQ on the runDisney site for the 5k, it specifically says no strollers.

Not permitted. You will be directed off the course and disqualified. It has happened several times to people this year.

There used to be a stroller division. I was really bummed when they didn't have it last year. My little guy (3) did ok. He stayed on dad's shoulders for about a mile and then ran till his little heart was content. I was very concerned At the start. Lots of people not paying attention. Unfortunately with the dopey runners now, I don't think strollers will be back.

Strollers were lined up behind all others in my first WDW 5K in January, 2010. Reason being they were supposed to be strolling, walking, thus not running over other walkers. There were a few faster joggers but not many. 2011, 2012, 2013 saw more and more jogging strollers going faster and zipping between walkers and slower joggers. Result was a dangerous situation for others that ruined a good thing.
