I just want everyone to know that if you lose something while in the parks it really pays to check with lost and found. My story follows.....
We were at MGM and decided to ride ToT about 1/2 an hour before closing (after leaving Fantasmic!). As we were leaving ToT, to head towards the gates, we realized our DD9 wasn't wearing her lanyard. We went back to where the ride exited and told a CM. He said he would check around for us and to check back with them about 10 til 8:00. We hung around about 15 minutes and checked with the CM at the entrance to the ride and she checked with no result. They both said to go to the park's Lost&Found the next day to see if it was turned in. We had planned to be at this park again the next day anyway so all was good. The bad news is, it wasn't there the next day either. The CM at MGM's Lost&Found said that ALL lost items where eventually turned over to the main Lost&Found at the TTC. A couple of days went by and the bus we boarded to go to another park took a detour to the TTC because that bus was 'stuck' at the WL. So, I talked my husband into getting off since we were going to be right there anyway. Guess what? They HAD the lanyard.
I was completely shocked. I didn't really believe we would ever find it again but I knew if I didn't go through the motions I would regret it. My DD9 had only had the lanyard about 3-4 hours before she lost it that night. The 4 pins she had were still on it too. So, just remember to check with Lost&Found. You may be pleasantly surprised like we were!
