WDW iPhone apps... use them??

Being a bit of an over-planner... I have been researching like crazy (nope, not really learned much new, since I have SCOURED disboards for the 3rd year in a row for my trip).

Anyway... I now have the iPhone, and have found several WDW apps. Has anyone used them, do you like them, and what is your fav?

I have downloaded some free ones. Just didn't want to pay for any that aren't worth it.

Also... what do u think of the "wait times" apps... are they accurate?

Well, I tried to but they didn't work on my Blackberry.

Blast Apple for only letting AT&T have the iphone.

I haven't used any (have a BB) but I have posted to a few threads about the wait times apps.

Here's what it boils down to. If there isn't a dedicated user community in the parks with iphones (itouches, since no wifi not going to work*) constantly entering data the information in the app will be useless.

And with 3 or 4 apps competing for your data it only going to make the situation worse.

It may all wash out and one prevail.

*without using some other cellphone data device like a mifi

Apple actually went to Verizon first, but Apple was asking for too much and Verizon didn't want to budge. I love my iPod Touch I would never leave Verizon for AT&T do to their service. I installed an app called WMWiFiRouter on my HTC Touch Pro which turns my phone into a wireless router. I can then connect my iPod Touch through my phone wirelessly.

That being said there are a number of apps that are well worth it for the iPhone and iPod Touch. You can see the link below for some further info. The wait time app is very new and nobody has confirmed how accurate it is yet.

Also there is a wait time website that you can use on any smartphone, not sure of the URL though.

I have and use the WDW dine app, it has all resturaunts in all parks and resorts listed, their menus for adults and kids, hours of operations, amount of credits for dining plan and you can call for reservations right from the app.
