Hi Everyone!

This is my very first time planning WDW and I am super pumped. However I am very lost on where to start. We were thinking the end of November early December so we can see it for Xmas. I know Xmas is always a busy season, but are there better weeks then others with less harsh of crowds. I know Disneyland has weeks that are somewhat better then others due to Holidays and such. We were thinking like a few days after Thanksgiving and into early December. :confused3 Any thoughts?

We've done 2nd week in Dec once and Thanksgiving week twice. We were actually told that the 1st week of Dec is least crowded when all the xmas stuff is going on. We absolutely LOVE this time of year, the decorations are amazing and the Castle lit up is one of the most beautiful things you'll ever see. The weather can be chilly, although this past year was great, so you never know (but bring warm gear). I know Thanksgiving is supposedly really busy, but it really hasn't been that bad, we always get to do everything we want. Hope this helps and ENJOY!

We were there just after Thanksgiving this year (arrrived the day after US thanksgiving) and stayed until Dec 3rd.

I didn't find it to be too crowded and we were able to get on all the rides we wanted to, and sometimes even the biggest ones were walk ons (splash mountain on nov 27th in the afternoon!)

It was in the mid to high 80's 2 days when we were there and the 60's and 70's the rest of the time. However it was freezing at night! Well not quite, but high 30's!

It was absolutely beautiful seeing all the decorations. I cannot wait to go back again during the Christmas holiday.

WE HAVE BEEN THE LAST COUPLE YEARS THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF DEC. WE WOULD NEVER DO AMERICAN THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS WEEK. IT DOESNT START GETTING REALLY BUSY UNTIL THE END OF SECOND WEEK. THEY FILM THE CHRISTMAS DAY PARADE EARLY IN THE MORNING ON THE FIRST WEEKEND IN DEC SO MAGIC KINGDOM WILL BE BUSY THEN. YOU ALSO HAVE CHEERLEADING COMPETITION. WE ALWAYS DO MICKEYS CHRISTMAS PARTY AND THE TURNING ON OF THE OSBORNE LIGHTS. UP UNTIL THE LAST 2 YEARS YOU COULD WATCH THE SECOND CHRISTMAS PARADE AT THE PARTY ON MAIN STREET WITH NOT MANY PEOPLE THERE. BuT THE LAST 2 YEARS ITS BEEN BUSIER. THE WEATHER IS HIT AND MISS. THIS YEAR WE ARRIVED NOV 29th AND HAD SWIMMING WEATHER FOR THE FIRST 2 DAYS THEN A COLD TEMPS MOVED IN. UPPER 60s SUnnY and A BIT BREEZY. NEED HEAVY JACKETS AT NIGHT BUT COMFORTABLE DURING DAY.

Thank you for your replies. That definitely helps. I dont mind about the Xmas Day parade. I can always find other things to do on that day to bypass the crowds. However I think it sounds like a decent time to go. Cold doesnt bother me. As long as I have a good jacket for the evening I am set. :goodvibes I am so excited.
