Hi! We are getting married next May 2004 and plan do half of our honeymoon (the first half in the Caribbean) in WDW. We have gone in mid June the last 2 visits and I just wanted some feedback on going to WDW in mid May?
The park hours? The crowds? Anything else would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

The crowds then are'nt to bad most rides have short wait times.
The parks hours vary Magic Kingdom is open late only on Friday and Saturday, MGM closes at 9pm and Epcot closes early except for the Worlds that stay open till 9 for Illuminations.

We usually go to WDW in early to mid May & enjoy this time of the year. the temperatures are usually warm with relatively low humidity. Sometimes it has been more humid, but we get used to it after a day or so :). It is definitely swimming weather.

EPCOT has their annual Flower & Garden Show during May which includes lots of outdoor type displays, discussions, etc.

Enjoy planning your wedding!

WDW in early and mid- May is great. The crowds are smaller than in June and it is cooler but still hot enough to enjoy the pools. It is one of our preferred months to go.

We like to go mid-May and find the park hours and levels of crowds work out well. The parks are open fairly late and not overly crowded. The temps can vary, one year we went and it was high 90's almost every day. That was too much for this New Englander but people from the south were glowing - I was plain ole sweating! And as someone mentioned, the flower & garden festival is awesome with all the topiaries in the parks.

We went the first week of May this year and had a blast! We never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for anything except Splash and Test Track - we did use Fastpass some. I have been before at this time and it was in the high 80's - nice. This time it was high 90's - kinda muggy!! The crowds were not too bad at all - we loved it! Have SO MUCH fun...we honeymooned at Disney long long ago!

We love going in May. Weather great for enjoying the water parks, but not terribly hot during the day.

Crowd level is moderate, and although park hours aren't extended as they are in summer, you can see and do more in a lesser amount of time.

The Flower & Garden Festival is awesome: we're really not gardeners, but were amazed at the beauty of EPCOT while this event is going on. The topiaries and the gardens (especially Canada) are really breathtaking.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

We went in mid-May - it was fabulous - the crowds were light, ride wait times were very low - many rides were walk on or close to walk on - weather was hotter than normal - low 90's and muggy

Spectro and FITS were great with the smaller crowds

Thanks
