llIJ,
My wife will also be 5 1/2 months pregnant. She can't wait and we are not worried at all. We were there last July and it is not that bad. As long as you take that mid day break you will be fine.
We go each year the end of July-beginning of August. I won't repeat the tips for beating the heat but they work for us. I love going to WDW in the summer! Everything is open, there is lots of activity going on, the air condition is cranked, we can swim at midnight. There is something going on every night so we don't have to plan what night to see Spectro and then fight the massive crowds because everyone else has the same idea. I can justify having a mickey bar every day, even two or three if I want. I don't have to do my hair or makeup because after an hour in the humidity it doesn't matter, although I still try LOL. There are early/late park hours so I can take my time and not be so comando. The afternoon showers clear out the parks. I can sit down for an evening meal and not have the park close as I'm eating. To me the benefits outweigh the heat factor.

All these positive comments about July are making me feel better! Since we've been to WDW a million times, I won't feel like we need to go commando and we will take a lot of time to soak up the atmosphere and relax.
we have aways traveled in july. while it is very hot and humid, if you take precautions like others have mentioned here, you will be ok. we have started traveling for 9-10 days so we could take long afternoon breaks at the pool or extra trips to the waterparks and not feel like we are losing any time away from the parks. plenty of fluids and sunscreen are a definite must. after all i can can get sunburned at home so why not at WDW
