Wdw in hurricane season?

Does disney allow cancellation if hurricanes hit? What’s your experience

It depends, on how close the storm is projected to come to Orlando, what kind of warnings NHC has posted, projected strength, etc. If conditions warrant, they’ll activate their hurricane policy and will allow refunds. They‘ll also help you reschedule, if you prefer.

You can probably find information on what they’ve done in past storms by googling “WDW hurricane policy.”

It is also pretty rare for them to hit. In all of the decades that they have been open, they have only closed 4 or 5 times due to a hurricane.

That's what they did for Dorian. Lots of people took advantage, so we had an AWESOME super low-crowd trip. We were there August 28 to September 7 and it was amazing.
