WDW in February?

In general, February is a great month for WDW. There are some "wrinkles" you need to be aware of which include: President's Day Weekend (Parks busier), possibility of cheerleaders/dancers at PC & AS (ask CM for specific dates). February is generally cool with relatively low attendance. Key to weather is layered clothing -- & check those early morning hours to be sure you'll be warm enough! Much lower chance of rain than spring-summer (when it's 50%). Park hours at MK somewhat shorter -- although EMH & LEH will provide all the hours you could want.

We normally go in January but this year we decided to go for the week that Valentines Day fell in. 160,000 highschool cheerleaders were all over the parks but it wasnt too bad except on the rides home because while everyone else was tired and sleepy on the bus rides home. Teen age girls just keep talking and talking. The weather was really good while we were there ( High 70's low 80's) comfortable. We left on the Saturday of Presidents day weekend and the Friday was busy but other than that the crowds were light. We still fastpassed where it was available but were able to walk on to some things like TOT and RORC a couple of times first thing.

I would go again in Feb. Just maybe a week earlier

We usually go in January but this year decided to go on kids February vacation. This was last few days of Feb and first few days of March. Missed President's Day weekend and the crowds were not bad at all. We stayed at Pop and the lifeguard mentioned that Pop was at 53% capacity. Used FastPass but walked on plenty of things and really enjoyed EMH evening at MK. Saw most everything we wanted to see and found the weather to be slightly warmer than January. We are from NH though so 60s is warm enough for shorts/swimming for us. :sunny: Overall we decided we liked February even more than January and will be going again in February. :wizard:

p.s. Didn't see any cheerleaders or other large groups so I think we missed them so overall this seemed to be a good time to go as far as crowds.
