Hi! :goodvibes

:cool1:I'm planing a super vacation that includes some days at WDW and some days at Universal. I need transport from WDW :earsgirl: to Universal :charac4: and from Universal to the MCO Airport. I wasn't planning on renting a car since I'm staying onsite in both places. I've seen in the UniversalOrlando page that you can book transportation for round trips from the Airport to Universal, but i just want one-way trip...I've also heard about Happy Limo, Mears Cars, and other services. I'm not sure what to do....

Any advice???? :confused3

i asked this question a few months ago as i am a nondriver and the best option i found was Mears. you can book one way to disney and to universal and finally to the airport. not sure how much cabs would be. the one way fare for Mears is $16 i believe. i didn't do this as i decided to stay at disney the whole time. good luck :cool1:

forgot to mention that you can use disney magical express to go there first and then book one ways on mears to go to universal and eventually to the airport.

by the way, thanks for putting it in my head. i have just decided to add disney onto my trip :rotfl:

How are you getting from MCO to WDW? ME? We used Sunray Transportation for our recent trip. For 5 of us, it was $112 total plus tip for MCO to Shades of Green, then SoG to Hard Rock Hotel six days later, and then HRH to MCO two days after that. The drivers were on time every leg, very nice and professional, and the SUV's they used (Excursion twice and Yukon once) were clean and very nice. I'd use them again!

Thanks for your response, Candice. :thumbsup2

From MCO to WDW I was thinking about using the Magic Express or some deal like yours, book a Company for everything in one package. Some people says the problem with Magic Express is that you must be willing to wait up to 8 hours (aprox) to get your things, and that it could make several stops in other resorts before getting yours.
What type of car was it? Shuttle? Sedan? For this trip it's only my DB and I.

We've done this several times and in fact are doing it again in July. We've always used Tiffany Towncar service and have been very happy with them. We are going to use them from the Poly to HRH to the Airport. We even used them last year for a day trip to SeaWorld.

They used SUV's for the five of us (Excursion and Yukon), but for two I'm sure they would just use a sedan. I'm not sure if the price is somewhat less. I just emailed them from their site www.sunraytransportation.com, and they responded very quickly with a quote. With only two people, Mears might be cheaper (price per person), but you might have to share the ride with others.

I checked Tiffany, HappyLimo and Sunray and Tiffany is the less expensive one (individually) I wrote them to ask a package price for what I want (MCO-WDW-HRH-MCO). I'll post the current prices...Thanks for your help...

Tiffany Town Cars answered:

3 Leg for two (Airport-Disney-Universal-airport): $130 + gratuity to the driver.

Still waiting for the others...

was this a special rate of $112 for a 3 leg trip?

i am doing mco to wdw
then wdw to hrh
then hrh to mco

i was quoted $140 per phone call.
and it is for just me as i am going solo.

if you had a special code, can you pm it to me or post it here?
i do have the mfl code for some dollars off but no quote of what you paid.
thanks in advance

Well, that's interesting. I do not remember using a discount or a link from another site or anything. I guess their prices have just gone up. I was told it was $82 for the airport round trip plus $30 for the extra transfer leg to HRH. I'd let you know if I had a secret discount, I promise! :confused3

Looks like the prices have just gone up!!! Here is the current prices I found for some of companies that you have gave me (BTW: THANK YOU :thumbsup2 ):

Sunray Trasportation: $90 round trip (Airport-hotel-airport)
$35 from Disney to Universal

Tiffany Town Cars: $95 Round Trip
$35 Disney to Universal

Mears : $130 Round Trip
$40 Disney to Universal

Happy Limo: $100 Round trip
$35 Disney to Universal

This prices are for the Luxury Sedan or similar. It's the one offered for 4 or less. If anyone has a different prices or special offers please post them :goodvibes

One more transport question...How well does the magic express work?...

I tell everyone to rent the car, even if they are staying onsite. It's a convience factor, being able to visit the parks. Yes, you will pay $10 per night to park at the onsite hotels. And you'll probably pay more with the rental car, but then you can drive offsite to restaurants and stock a cooler from Publix.

florida tours just got back to me - $169 for the entire trip.

 :faint:

that's high.........

is it a limo or town car?

i am going solo so i would dread paying that much

Is that $10 per night for parking at Universal Hotels? Do you pay for parking at WDW hotels?

all 3 universal hotels have a nightly charge for parking there.

it is more than $10 now.

i received my confirmation email and the price is listed for those that are driving in.

i would have to check it but it is either $12 or 14 for parking this fall.
the amount is listed on the email i recieved from them.

i quit the rental car about 3 years ago, i use town service ever since.

no..$169 was quoted for a towncar. i thought that they were crazy too!
