Hi to everyone, My question is we have the 1 day at the WDW on Nov 14, I see the park hours are 9am - 9pm but MK has the extra hours, can we stay the extra hours also or do we have to leave at 9pm. Thanks

The Extra Magic hours are for WDW resort guests. You have to have resort ID to go on attractions during that time.

Typically, the last bus back from each park departs an hour later than the "normal" closing time.

Thanks for your reply, I wasn't sure if that was the case. I also noticed that it looks like that day when MK has the extra hours MK is more crowded at least from the estimated crowd calendars that I've checked.

Assuming your on a cruise there for a day? What are your port hours in PC? What does the port adventures say?

it looks like we arrive at PC about 7am, till about midnite. My family hopes to get at least 2 parks in MK & Epcot.

I've done this itinerary and unless things changed this year (highly unlikely) those on the cruise do NOT get to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours.

Just wanted to point out that hours on that date are likely to change once we get closer to November. As a frame of reference, park hours on that same Wednesday last year were 9am-10pm with 10pm-12am EMHs.

Sorry if that’s obvious, but just wanted to point it out.

I would recommend that you make booking your shuttle to the parks a priority on your online check in date. It will be listed with excursions. While you don't have to book a shuttle to go back to the ship, you do have to have one booked to get to the parks on that day.
So if you want to get as much park time as possible, you will want to be on an early shuttle.

I assume you are not staying in a Disney resort hotel?
EMH is for Disney resort guests.
If you are staying offsite you will be allowed to stay in the park to shop/walk around but you cannot do any attractions as the check to ensure you're a resort guest at the entrance of each.
I don't pay attention to crowd calendars.
Also for the future questions regarding the parks should go in the theme parks and strategies section for the most/best responses.

This is what I was thinking.

We will be on this itinerary as well, and I think that Disney Parks will most likely change the hours as mentioned above. But also, don't feel like you will be "missing out" on time. It's a long day when you do it on the cruise and don't have the luxury of a hotel to go back to. Don't try to do everything and have a plan for your VIP fastpasses. Otherwise, just do what you can! :) We did things that we usually don't do when we stay at the parks last time and it turned into a fun time for us.

This is good advice. We started at the Studios, took a long lunch break at the Poly and end the day at the Magic Kingdom.

I think They are doing the cruise that spends a day at WDW that’s why they asked the question on this forum.
