WDW Hotel suggestions prior/post cruise

Howdy~
Suggestions for hotels to stay at on Disney property the night before and night after our cruise. We want to stretch out our Disney experience to the max. Thank you.

Recently we have been staying at POR when we want to extend the Disney feeling after our cruise, and we have 3 nights booked there this summer. We don't do the parks, but it is nice to take the boat down to Disney Springs for some shopping.

We like AKL or AS Sports. This trip we are going to try to get a room at BC.

Restaurants: Boma at AKL. For characters: Cape May at BC for b'fast and Chef Mickey's for dinner.

We stayed at AKL before our cruise in Feb. We had a few nights there and loved the resort.

Whats your budget and will you have park tickets? I could recommend Boardwalk Villas but if you don't plan on getting tickets and want to see Wishes you'd probably do better at Polynesian or Bay Lake.
