There is a 4 stare hotel on priceline in the Lake Buena Vista area for 80 a night, Ref No. 5595305856. Can anyone confirm that this is the WDW Hilton? I can get a $95 rate off their website but this is the cheapest. Anyone confirm it?

The Hilton is a 4* on Hotwire and usually comes up for between $85-100/nt, so it's a good chance that is it. As a side note, it comes up on Priceline frequently for $60-65/nt in the resort*. Of course you wouldn't be certain of getting the Hilton, but quite honestly all the resort* hotels in Priceline's WDW Vicinity zone are as nice, or nicer (Swan/Dolphin), than the Hilton. Hope this helped!

Keep in mind that even if the Hilton has been the "traditional" Hotwire, it might not be in your case. Don't do this if you will be really upset if it is not the Hilton. Remember, no refunds, no changes!

We bid trough priceline last week and received the Hilton for $60 a night from 4/13-4/20. We bid it in the Resort catagory in WDW. We read a lot of reviews and talked to people that stayed there and they all seemed more than happy with their stay.

Just for fun we tried Hotwire to see what would come up during these days. You have to look closely at the hotel amenities on Hotwire to try and determine which hotel you would be accepting.

We just tried Hotline to see what would show up for a price. We bid on a hotel in the WDW area and one came up as a 3 star for $80 a night. I wasn't sure which hotel this was. By changing the date to one day earlier, a condo resort hotel came up for $112 a night.

The only thing about Hotwire is your not sure which hotel you'll be receiving. Once we have more info on the ratings for hot wire it may be easier to determine which hotel your getting.

I checked the Betterbidding.com website but they don't have enough research info on the hotels that are being accepted.

I agree, down the road if more people post their experiences with Priceline/ Hotwire the board will grow into another great place to reasearch lower hotel/ resort rates .

This will truely help those who want to stay offsite or close to WDW find great deals on rooms that they might not find in the past. With Hotwire being a new entity there is not enough info yet to make an informed decesion but that should change down the road.

We just decided to arrive one day earlier than planned and bid on Priceline for 4/12 and received the Wyndham Palace Resort and Spa for $65. I also had run this through Hotwire and had what I believe was the same Resort for $76 a night.

Priceline asked me to up my original bid of $60 dollars by $17 or add another area, I added another area for $65 and was accepted.

I noticed while checking prices that many hotels were booked the week of 4/4-4/11.

I also signed up for their byrequest card which you can add to your reservations.

Hotwire amenities were:

Walt Disney World - 4* Lake Buena Vista $76

Resturaunt
Pools
Fitness center
Buisness center
Golf nearby
Tennis nearby
Spa services

Hi we just got back from staying at the wdw hilton. We bid 80 thru Priceline for a resort inthe disney area. It was really nice worth every penny. It does have horribleparking. Valet was 10.00 per day. But was worth not lugging everything from way out in the boonies where you park.
