WDW happenings on Easter Day

Hoping someone might know what the activities are for Easter Day at WDW. We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside during that time frame. My 7 year old son also has his birthday that day. So, looking for special things to do. There usually is an Easter parade that is filmed for T.V. Does anyone know when that will take place?

The last Easter parade was 2000. The MK is very, very, very crowded on Easter Sunday. Some of the resorts will have egg/candy hunts. IF you plan on a branch or an dinner that day, make your PS early. Try this link for activities during Easter 2004. http://allearsnet.com/din/easter.htm

We were there this past Easter, and we really didn't notice any special things going on at all for Easter. There was definitely no special parade, or decorations at all. I did hear about some easter egg hunts and things like that at some resorts, but we didn't go to anything. I would definitely recommend making a dinner reservation for Easter night. We didn't make one and then when we arrived we couldn't get one anywhere that we were interested in, and we ended up leaving the park and going to an awful steakhouse on Easter!
