WDW Good Neighbor hotel w/ free shuttle to US?

We are thinking of going to Disney this May, but would also like to try Universal Studios for a couple of days. Does anyone know of a Disney Good Neighbor hotel that offers free shuttle service to Universal? We are trying not to rent a car if possible. Thanks so much!

You can get round trip shuttle service with Mears from Disney resorts to Universal or sea world for like 15 bucks per person.

We stayed at the Polynesian and rented a cab for the ride to SeaWorld. We have a family of 5 so it was cheaper (a little) and there was no waiting. Cabs are everywhere. We needed a minivan which there was plenty around and with a car seat for our 2 yr old. I checked it out before putting DD2 in and it was clean and properly installed.

Mears Shuttle goes to a number of hotels which was fine when we didn't have kids but now that we do a cab is the way to go for us.

I am guessing you are wanting to stay offsite? How nice of a place are you looking for? 3 years ago, we went on a very last minute, very low budget trip to WDW, and stayed at Best Western Lakeside Resort. It was less than five minutes to MK. We never used there transportation, but they had free shuttles to and from WDW, US, and International Dr.

The hotel itself was more than adequate- clean, quiet rooms, good sized w/ fridge and microwave, courteous staff, onsite restaurants/bars/store (also walking distance to several other dining options and a Walgreens in the front parking lot). The grounds were very well kept, 3 (heated) pool areas, kiddie pool and playground, mini golf. If you are looking for a decent place on a budget that has some transportation, I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend this hotel. (P.S. found it on kayak.com just now for $42 a night).
