My dd is in vision, occupational, and mobility therapy and I was thinking of getting her therapists a little something from Disney World but am not sure what to get. i wont be able to spend a lot on these gifts. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am an OT and parent's have brought me back me back lots of things. I have always felt that a pen a magnet or even something edible is always useful. HTH

Make sure you checkout one of the below$10 stores(dtd and saw one in one of the parks) they had some nice pens on sale there . I'm always looking for nice pens and have many from Disney.

Keychains are nice too. I think I remember someone posting that in Canada in Epcot you can get leather keychains for around $5.00. I am not 100 % sure so you will have to check it out but I thought that sounded like a nice little gift.

If you want to do something edible, the boxed chocolates that they sell in most of the shops are very tasty. I gave one to my neighbor as a gift for cat-sitting, and it was a real hit.

They also sell coffee in cute disney tins with different flavorings. If you know the person likes coffee that would be also probably be well-received.

I like the Keychain idea too.

Edit to add: Antenna balls. They have some cute ones and they're pretty inexpensive.

Just a thought...I would skip buying a mug - even though they have some cute ones. I would bet teachers and therapists get a lot of those... at least that is what I've heard. Unless you know it's something really fitting that the person will appreciate of course. :)

If you'll have a car and will be going off property, you might also check the outlet stores. You can find directions to the Character warehouse stores here: http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/cware.htm

That's all I can think of right now...hope you find some good stuff that is also reasonably priced!

A Christmas ornament is always nice. I love the Christmas stores there! They have beautiful ones that are not too expensive. A nice box of chocolate is a good gift too. HTH. princess:

Awesome idea!!! I never thought of this! I think I will do this

I am a physical therapist and would be thrilled with any gift that you brought back. However, with insurance issues we are not permitted to write in blue pen and that is mostly what they have in Disney. I would recommend an edible treat or something special that would remind the therapist of your child (something princess if she loves princesses, etc.) Have a good trip :)

My DD is also in therapy and she picked out a nice magnet and a Mickey rice krispy bar to give each therapist.
