WDW Gift Certifactes / Disney Dollars?

Does anyone know where I can buy WDW gift certificates?

My last trip I bought Disney Dollars, but it was hard for me not to use them. We live in Southern California and have Disneyland AP's, so I would take a little here and there and use them @ Disneyland.

With my next trip, I would like to buy WDW gift certificates instead & then I won't be tempted to use them?

Can I buy them @ the Disney Store or through WDW directly?

I've never heard of Gift certificates, only Disney Dollars and gift cards, with DD's being the only thing useable at WDW and DL. Have you tried calling the WDW merchandise ordering number? Maybe they know something we don't.

Hey! I actually looked into the gift certificate thing recently as several family members liked that idea for us for Christmas. Anyway, no. They don't offer them - I wish they did! We just use the DD savings plan - it works for us since we're in Texas!! I do worry about something happening to them though - my girls have quite a collection for our May trip. Hope this saves you some research time!!

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to try and call WDW merchandise just to verify. I saw someone selling a WDW gift certifacte on Ebay, that they said they got through a silent auction through a school, but I wasn't sure if WDW sold them directly.
