We'll be staying at the Swan&Dolphin (gotta deal I just couldn't resist!) and would like to suprise my children with a few items to meet us in the room? Of course, the new Sorcerer Pal Mickey, etc....I always read about people suprising kids with WDW baskets, anyone know who does this, is it the hotel conceirge, or private co. for disney arrivals? Thanks for the info, DISSERS ROCK!:cool1:

FUNNY, that is who MOST interested me from reviewing their website...off to shop! :yay:

Last time we went, I made my own and snuck it in my suitcase. Then when everyone was out of the room, I put the stuff out. I told my kids that Mickey had come by to welcome them. They were thrilled. It was much cheaper and I got to pick out exactly what I wanted.

Peggy's site looks fabulous! What a neat idea. Tell me though, would it be overkill and a waste of money to do this for my 4 & 2 year old? Not sure if it makes sense since we'll probably be buying stuff anyway. i was thinking maybe the pins or autograph books with pens and maybe stuffed mickey/minnie???

We did just one basket this time, with EPCOT passports, autograph book, pressed penny book, the big pens, etc (basically, the stuff I would have gotten almost immediately upon arrival), plus one extra surprise for each kid. It was a fun surprise for them at check-in! Peggy does a great job making the baskets look great too!!

One time I did this for my kids....but I made the baskets at home...with things I picked up that I new they would like .... mostly Disney- related and I had them shipped to the hotel we were staying at.....It was the Dolphin at the time too. I sent the package next day UPS and it arrived the day we arrived. Even with the extra shipping expense....I had items that I was sure my children would like and the cost was SO much less expensive. It wasn't that much trouble either. They loved it!

I just ordered a gift basket from Peg today. I absolutely love her website, it's so easy to see all of the choices and know what you're going to be getting.

EPCOT is our second FAV park! What are these? Are we missing something here? Thanks!

You can buy an Epcot PassPort in any of the giftshops. Then, as you tour WS, the kids go to the KidCot areas in each country...there they can do some kind of activity as well as get their PassPort signed by one of that countries CM. The CM will usually write a little something in their native language...that's the part we like the most.

I'm getting two baskets done on this trip.. one for my fiance and one for my parents and sister and they'll be in the room when we get there. I can't wait! I love adding a little extra disney magic to our trip this way ... and I did it through "memories by betsy"... I worked with betsy a little and her assistant mostly and they are both soooo nice!

I'd totally recommend them and use them again.
