Hello! I need help with restaurant reservations. We moved our trip from Dec 2010 to May 16!!!! Of course dining is an issue now since they are back to a 180 advance system.

I lost Cindy's Royal Table. The rep couldn't get the system to not charge me for the full amount, even though we are on the dining plan. Boo. But here is what we have: (2 adults, one preschooler boy, an infant girl)

Sunday- nothing booked yet, considering MK, HS, or DTD (would do T-Rex OOP in case of the latter)
Monday- nothing booked yet, MK
Tuesday- Animal Kingdom- nothing booked yet, considering a resort dinner since we don't care for Y&Y or Tusker House.
Wedsnesday- HS- we have SciFi booked
Thursday- EPCOT- we have Tutto Italia booked (Cellier was wiped clean)

So...any thoughts :) We've done Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare already, but we're not opposed to going again for no better option.

THANKS!

The only thing that immediately sprang to mind for me was Boma for your resort dinner after your day at AK. We really enjoyed our meal there! :)

A few other favorites of ours, in no particular order, were:

Chefs de France in Epcot
Biergarten in Epcot
Chef Mickey's for b'fast
Cape May for b'fast

For the magic kingdom, i would suggest just eating a counter service..they are all pretty good! :)

How about Ohana or Kona Cafe at the Poly on the MK days...short monorail ride away. Also, Grand Floridian Cafe is supposed to be good and there is always Tea at the GF.

I love Sci Fi and Tutto so those should be great.

We love The Plaza Restaurant (not the walk-up ice cream -parlor). The actual TS is a really good MK choice :)

OP,

You should go out to Disney's on-line site and check what you are wanting. I find Sci Fi open for lunch and dinner on the Thursday you provided. I didn't check the others.

thanks! I just hate the 180 system. Who would've thought that a trip made 3.5 months ahead of time would be considered "last minute". Sigh. I am still working on reservations online!
