WDW Excursion questions

For those that have done the one day WDW excursion I had a couple logistical type questions -

When leaving the port to head to WDW do you get to choose the bus you get on based on what park you go to first? i.e., do they provide direct trx from port to all 4 parks?

Are they DCL buses? Is there on board entertainment/movies on the way to WDW and back?

What is the last call for buses returning to port? Do you have to preschedule your return to port bus or are they constantly running the buses all day?

You get to choose the bus for the trip to WDW when you do online check in. You'll get to pick which park and which departure time.

The busses are WDW cruise line and Magical Express. They did have something playing on the monitors but it wasn't entertaining. They were more like infomercials.

The busses back to PC started running at around 4pm and were every half hour after that. They left from each park up until the time the park closed. The busses from the MK were the last to depart(latest park to be open)

So I take it the last buses to head back to the port are usually pretty full? Any chance they serve drinks on the buses? :teeth:

I take it this is not an excursion experienced by many by the lack of response, but I'm wondering if it will be possible to take in the Star Wars fireworks, then get over to Magic Kingdom for Hallowishes in time?

Would depend on what time the shows are scheduled for. Plus it would be normal resort transportation to get between parks. Have to remember limited # of cruise that have the WDW excursion in 2016 and prior to that it was 2012.

Can't imagine how uncomfortable a transfer on DME would be from Park to Port, over an hour ride on hard sideways plastic seat with kids drinking in parks all day and no bathroom on bus. I would do whatever I could to be sure I snagged the regular Cruise Line Busses.

On our 2012 cruise that included a day trip to WDW they used all coach buses - no park type buses were used.
