WDW DVC near golf courses

We haven't been to WDW in a long time. Was curious for those who play a lot of golf near WDW, which DVC would you recommend staying at to be able to play golf easily? I know Saratoga Springs looks to be close to at least one course. Any other recommendations? Thanks!

OKW and SSR are the two best for golf.

SSR and OKW for LBV course; and GFV and PVB are next to Magnolia and Palm and Oak Trail area. Depends which of these courses you prefer to play.

The Polynesian and Grand Californian are walking distance to 3 regular golf courses, a driving range, and a FootGolf course as well.

DH golfs-ALOT-at WDW, and we're OKW people. He prefers OKW to SSR because he can sit and watch the golfers go by from a much higher percentage of rooms than at SSR, and conversely, it's nice to see your villa from the golf course, wave to your family, we've been with golfers who've stopped to grab a jacket, use the restroom, etc.

As others have already pointed out - LBV Clubhouse is closest to SSR, and it does wind through OKW.
Palm/Magnolia/OakTrail are near MK resorts (Poly & Grand Flo).
A few things to keep in mind:
Magnolia is currently under refurbishment, and only 14 Holes are open for play right now.
Additionally, Oak Trail is a 9-Hole walking course.
Lastly, DVC members can buy a DVC-Golf package for $99, which will give you 4-Rounds at Oak Trail, 4-Rounds at either LBV/Palm/Magnolia at Twilight, several practice buckets, and a few other perks like a DVC Bag-Tag and Hat.
I've purchased this package annually since 2020 !

Just something to keep in mind, any Disney resort will provide a free taxi to and from and of the Disney golf courses. Just ask bell services or the front desk and they can arrange it for you at the hotel.

I purchased mine at the LBV Clubhouse in SSR.

Wow! This DVC Golf oackage has been suspended and the golf shops don’t know when it will be available again. BUMMER
The Sunrise 9 is also under suspendion.
The frustrating part is that the Sunrise 9 package is still listed on the website. Additionally, while on hold, the hold message states that the DVC Golf package is available. This is so disappointing, as I had hoped to buy this package for the 3rd year in a row.

I don't know if it has changed, but in addition to the cab service to the course, clubs were transferred to the next course for free.

Example: One year we played Palm first. We put our clubs in the free cab and off we went to palm. Later that week, we were playing on the old Osprey Ridge course. Disney transferred our bags from Palm to Osprey Ridge. Our bags were on a cart when we arrived for our tee time.

Of course, all of this could have changed now given the course ownership / management changes and COVID-19 adjustments. YMMV.

That second one is a one heckuva walk. I definitely would need to use a cart to play a round. LOL.

Also note that Magnolia is undergoing a course remodel for holes, I think, 13-17. So, take that into account with your planning.

Our taxi driver even stopped a convenient store so we could grab some beverages.
