WDW documents??? When should I expect to receive them????

He everyone,

I posted this on the Community Board yesterday and didn't have one response, so I am going to repost it here.

Hi all,

Everyone here has always been so helpful, so I have a question. I leave for WDW in less than two weeks (actually 2 weeks from today) .

My question is, when should I be receiving my documents from WDW. I have paid for everything, I received my invoice stating that I have a zero balance, but have not received anything else. Shouldn't I be expecting more and if so when? I am getting a little anxious. I believe that when I have purchased a WDW package before, that I received everything about a month prior to departure.

I've gotten my documents as late as 2 weeks prior to a trip when I've booked packages. If you booked room-only, you will not get any documents (just like any other hotel). If you booked your package thru a TA, give them a call to see if the documents are sitting on someone's desk somewhere. If you book directly with Disney yourself, it's time to call CRO to see where your docs are. With less than 2 weeks to go, you should have them by now.

I got mine 2 weeks ago from AAA I arrive on the 16th. I would call your TA.

Balances are paid 45 days out and docs go out right after. I would call who ever you booked through (ta or cro) and question it.

Thanks everyone. I did book through CRO. I did get a reservation confirmation via e-mail, but that just states that everythign was paid in full and what features I purchased. I will call CRO tonight when I get home from work.

We are leaving in less then 2 weeks and still haven't received our documents yet either. I called CRO on Friday and was told that they were printed on 8/11 and she wasn't sure why I hadn't received them yet. She checked with the documents department and they told her just because that is when they were printed doesn't mean they were sent then. She said to give it til this Friday and if I don't have them to call back and they will have them waiting at the hotel for us when we check in. HTH!

We were given ours when we got there as we live in the UK. However on our previous trip they were sent in the post.

That's so weird because I am also waiting for docs for my family and my parents and neither has come yet, we are 12 days out. I called CRO and they told me that they printed on 8/11 also!! They said they were going to try to send me another packet, we'll see what happens.

well, I called CRO tonight. I got a very unpleasant castmember who really could care less that I didn't receive my documents. Anyway, he said that they were mailed on 8/7/07 and I should have already received them. I told him that I didn't receive them yet and he asked that they be reprinted and I should have them in 7-10 WORKING days. There is a chance that I won't get them before I leave and I asked what to do then. He told me to tell the front desk when I check in.

Can anyone tell me exactly what exactly should be in the documents? Will my miniature golf voucher be there? What about the Planet Hollywood $15.00 meal voucher? I don't know what the Sea Raycer offer is, so should that be in there? I just have a feeling that this castmember is just going to send me out another invoice/statement telling me that I paid in full.

We leave on 9-21 and I just realized we haven't gotten ours yet. The balance was paid in July and I got the receipt for payment.

Just want to let everyone know, I did receive my documents today, UPS 2nd day air. I am really shocked that they got here so quickly, especially after the cast member I talked to was not that pleasant.
