We were in the World last week and I was surprised at how manageable the crowds were. I had been nervous about high crowd levels. We were at the Mk on Tues and Wed 2-15 & 16 and did not encounter any waits at all. On Tues we walked right into the Stretching Room at HM at 1:00. On Wed, the stand-by for Space was 10-15 min every time we looked. Just wondering if anyone else was there last week and what you thought of the crowds. We stayed offsite except for the first night and I avoided any park with early or late hours!

We were there last week and felt the same way. Crowds were not bad at all. We were at MK on Sunday (2/13) morning and walked on to Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean and Mickey's Philharmagic. On Monday, we were at EPCOT for the Segway Tour (Big fun by the way) and then walked on to almost everything. My husband and son waited about 15 minutes for Mission Space and Test Track was a 20 minute wait.

Our longest line was Rockin' Rollercoaster at MGM on Monday afternoon - 25 minutes. We thought the crowds were fine last week and were pleasantly surprised.

Wasn't the weather fantastic??!!

I bet with the President's Day holiday this past weekend/today the parks were packed. I am not there, but I would bet the crowd levels are high. You probably went at the right time considering the holdiay weekend was approaching. Glad you had a great time!
ADP :goodvibes

Yesterday the parks were PACKED... I mean down right couldn't move around 85 minute waits for the bigger rides PACKED!!! Thank heavens for fastpass...

I was there 2/13 - 2/18 and thought all in all that the crowds were fairly manageable. Ther was a distinct difference as the week progressed, though. At MK on 2/15 we walked onto many many rides (like space mountain in the middle of the afternoon). We went back to MK on 2/17 -- what a difference! The crowds were not overwhelming, but space mountain had a one hour wait at the same time in the afternoon, and fantasyland was really really crowded at a much earlier time.

But it all depended where you went. At Epcot, on 2/18, my husband and daughter walked onto Mission Space, and then I walked on after they returned. The only thing that had a line of any consequence was Test Track (one hour wait), which we had done several days before, so we skipped. All in all, a great week with fabulous weather!

I went with the new UG crowd levels that was posted here awhile back and they must have backfired on me. We only did 2 days at DW (rest were USF/IOA and Busch) and the DW parks were packed out in the afternoons. We did MGM and Epcot on Feb 11th (was suppose to be a level 3) and MK on the 17th, also packed by afternoon. Mornings were light in all parks as usual and we walked on the bigger attractions but there were long waits for the big attractions in the aft. Tons of cheerleaders hit MGM on the aft of the 11th so we hopped to Epcot to find a 30 min wait for Mission SPace and and 45 for TT, we fast passed TT to get a 6:30 time, lol.

But if you go first thing in the moring, you can do most everything by noon anyways (bigger attractions) and yes, the weather turned gorgeous :)

Ditto for us, Wee Annie. We did MK on 2/15 and 2/17. Not crowded at all on the 15th, but the 17th was much worse. I thought "I guess we can't just walk onto the teacups anymore... the Presidents Day folks are coming a little early." Might have been some early arrivals for Daytona too. Needless to say, I'm glad we didn't do MK on Friday or Sat as I would imagine the crowds were approaching gigantic. MGM on Friday wasn't bad and Epcot on Saturday wasn't bad either. With the little tots, we can't take advantage of EMH, so we avoid those parks.

We've done Disney twice now-- once the week before and once the week after "Presidents week"-- and we've had great success with low crowds.

And yes, the weather was EXCEPTIONAL. Not a single drop of rain and upper 70s (except Friday and Sat "cooled off" a bit... like only 70).

I was there the 13 - 18 and it was really nice to see that the lines were not too bad. Worst line was for Pooh on 13th at about 25 mins. I was in the MK on the 18th and yes it was getting a bit nuts by 1 pm. All in all though the crowds were not as bad as I expected with all the cheerleaders etc being there. :earsgirl:
