Here's something I don't think I've seen on here before: craft ideas that you can make with the "stuff" you bring home from WDW to create meaningful but less expensive souvenirs. I'll start:
I made a lap desk out of the fastpasses, tickets, room coasters, postcards, napkins, maps and other flat stuff I brought home. I glued the stuff to a large piece of fiberboard (I painted it first for an attractive background) the coated it in a plastic resin mixture I got from Michaels. The resin dries hard, waterproof and wipe-able, thus protecting the items below. Then I attached a decorative pillow underneath and trimmed the edges of the desk with some nice ribbon.
