WDW Commando Club

My original post meant to say choose 50s PT and that the camp at Sci Fi does not overcome the poor food and lame service.

Sorry for the confusion. You'll like 50s.

:welcome: You are member #189 :cool1:, Do you have a upcoming trip planned:confused3

Curoly06 Have a great time on your 1 more Disney Day trip, it's bound to be a AWESOME day:banana:

A rumor that I will be following is the XPass, there are no details out about it, but after going to many theme parks I have a good idea what it might be about:mad:

I guess the One More Disney Day events must be underway by now, I wish I was there:goodvibes

I would love to hear a commando's point of view on yesterday! When given 24 hours, can you do and see every single thing at MK (excluding restaurants, I don't think anyone could eat that much in one day!)?!

I doubt anyone could do ALL of WDW, excluding restaurants, in one day. It's difficult to get in all the shows at DHS in one day with their time schedule. But, I think a great commando plan would have been to hit all the major rides at all the parks, or do 1 park RD to close, riding every ride, every show, every parade, etc

It was only MK open 24 hours...

I think it is TOTALLY doable...

Didn't know that. MK is doable in 24 hours. I can get through most of it on a regular hours park day. The character greets outside, i.e. Rapunzel, might tack on some time, as well as other pay options like BBB. The only things we usually don't get in the day is the Tom Sawyer, Stitch, CoP, Dapper Dans, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. But, we also ride the mountains multiple times if possible, using the old FP system. So, I'm sure we could get those 5 extra rides in.

Not doing Stitch is a wise decision, not due to time, just due to the chili burp. :rotfl2:

We may get that chance, we did have 1 member go, maybe we will get a TR:thumbsup2:confused3

I agree maybe 2 or 3 times over depending on the crowd:woohoo:

Seems like we skip the same things with the Exception of The Dapper Dans seeing them is on my priority list:thumbsup2

I have seen the Dans once. My dds weren't impressed, so if we time it right, then great, but I don't plan for it. We did CoP the last time (doors open ans no wait) and youngest asked, why does it smell like hay? It's not a bad ride, but the stink .....

My favorite WDW news & rumor website - It's A Disney World After All - had a rumor I'm interested in:confused3 Rumor is that Kim Possible will switch to Phineas & Ferb sometime in June:cool1:

My son is going to want to do it:banana:

Cool! We did Kim Possible and it was fun but my boys will enjoy it more if it's P&F.

I leave on Friday for WDW and I haven't even started packing!! :scared1: I'm so behind on preparing this time around so today and tomorrow is ALL DAY DISNEY!! :cool1:

Have fun packing:eek: Can't wait to hear what you think of the new FP system & Sorcerers of the MK game:confused3

It has been since Oct since I set foot in any theme park, so I have a case of cabin fever:eek: I put in for a weekend off in April to visit Kings Dominion & Busch Gardens in VA, it's not WDW but it will keep the Commando skills sharp:rolleyes1

Yeah, we're doing Disney Hilton Head for a week, but just not sure it will satisfy my needs. DW said no to a summer trip.

You think you've got cabin fever, my trip to WDW is looking like it's going to be delayed for a year, thanks to my DM leaving me with $6000 of debt that I'm going to get stuck with:scared1::scared1::scared1:. I was a fool in co-signing on it 15 yrs ago, back when I was still young, single, and had a steady job. The Canada Death Benefit should knock it back by $2500, but I'm still looking at having to pay $3500 (less if I can help it) that's not my debt. Other than that, I'm trying to be positive, and am trying to get my life back on track. Am going to start to look for work once I'm down another 14lbs, which should be by the end of this month. So I've got severe Disney withdrawal in general. I'm going to have drool while you guys take you trips, and dream of the day that I can head to WDW too!

Trish:upsidedow

Update: FWIW I'm still fighting VISA, and have asked for a copy of my original cardholder agreement, with my signature on it before I send them any money. I want to know what my rights are as a cardholder, and what I originally signed off on before sending them anything. So the battle continues, and who knows how it's going to turn out, but I can hope it turns out in my favor can't I???

Sending some pixie dust your way, hope you stumble on some kind of good fortune:goodvibes

Since she died late Jan, I've been on a massive purge of possessions of epic proportions. I've wanted to do this for years, but didn't because of respect for her. Today I'm off to my sis's work to liquidate some of my gold pendants, as I've decided it's time for me to downsize that as well. If I win my battle with VISA, the money will go towards the trip, If I lose the money will be used to pay the CC off. Either way I'm ready to make some pretty major changes in my life, one day at a time. Take care and have a great day!!

Trish
