Now I'm on my way to update my PTR.

Looks good to me:thumbsup2 Is this the particular order you were going in? That may need to change, but other than that as long as you all hustle, especially in the A.M. you should be ok.

The only thing that we want to hit first is the Merida meet and greet. Everything else is not in order. I'm in the process of figuring that out now. Im using touring plans but I've never used it before. If anyone has suggestions of what I should get done before lunch that would be great! For lunch I'm thinking sometime between 11am-11:30am.

Helloooooo! where's the part about meeting up with me!?! My actually dates are Dec.1-14/13

But comparing our tickers I think we are going to miss each other by 2 weeks?:sad1:

Wow Busy day here today, this is Great seeing all these Great plans, IMO the planning makes the trip:thumbsup2, it doesn't matter if you get it all done or not as long as you have a good time:cool1:, It is a goal to try to complete I would say probably a good % of guests have no plan or goal and end up like a deer in headlights with no idea what to do next, or spent too much time worrying about if they should use white or colored index cards for notes:lmao:

But planning is a big part of a Great vacation, when the vacation is over I've never seen any threads yet that said I'm sure glad we used yellow index cards, it made all the difference:rotfl:

Thanks guys.

Opening day at MK kicks off with BBB at 830 and CRT at 10. I figure we can do a couple of FL rides in between. I know we're not going to knock out a lot of rides on day 1 but we plan on doing another day at MK and MNSSHP.

This could be one of those times that you might be better off not really doing anything in between that is if there is even time (unless you and your son leave to do something), I've never been to BBB but if it's anything like a regular salon it's going to take awhile, plus if anything gets messed up from the time she gets out of BBB to breakfast at CRT you know who's going to get blamed:scared1: I'd say after breakfast all is fair game:confused3

Great plans:thumbsup2, I got worried for a second thinking this was the one your Mom was going on (with the para sailing):scared1:, I'm getting old I'd probably need a scooter trying to keep up with you:rotfl2::thumbsup2

We will be at the MK on the same day! I believe that you will be able to accomplish everything you have on your list.

Great to see you back, and with a upcoming trip:thumbsup2

:welcome: You are member #232:cool1: Can you accomplish this in one day, I have no doubt that you can:thumbsup2, if you want I will give you tips on how I would do it:confused3, I do notice that a whole section is missing though, The Fantasyland expansion:confused3

Any Commandos going to be at WDW August 4-14, if you are I'd love to meet up with you, I've meet up with at least 15 members on the Dis Boards so far (mostly from The Dis Dads Club and some members of The Commando Club) and had a Great time with all of them:thumbsup2, So far for my next trip I have 3 meet ups in the works, my son always asks before the trip am I going to see any of my Disney friends (he's meet a ton of kids and has a blast:thumbsup2), This trip I was able to tell him he would have a Birthday party with some Disney friends, some that he has meet before:banana:

So if you get a chance to have a meet, try it, you will probably have a blast::yes::

Helloooooo! where's the part about meeting up with me!?! My actually dates are Dec.1-14/13

I don't have my dates for the Dec trip with my mom yet, I may catch you at the end of your Dec trip. If not:( turn that frown upside down because that just gives us another reason to go to WDW :woohoo:!!!

I say we do a Commando marathon trip in a few years, we all try to get our schedules together and do some major Commando touring.

I'm using yellow index cards just for this reason :lmao:
My mom would just walk away from me if I made her tour the way hunny and I are:lmao: He is a trooper and roller coaster fanatic so he will be fine.

I will not be, but I am still planning a April/ May trip for us and the kids next year if anyone has plans or is thinking of making plans next year. I would love a Dismeet as well:goodvibes

Thank you for the welcome!!!! I did forget to add the little Mermaid ride! We've already done the rest of new fantasyland in January and this trip is just a short trip with DH for work so we let the kids pick what they wanted to see. I would appreciate any help I can get though:). We normally spend about 3 days in the Magic Kingdom and take our time doing everything in one land and then moving to the next. So even though going commando isn't our normal style, we are up for the challenge!!!!

Great to see you back, and with a upcoming trip:thumbsup2

Thanks! I am so excited!! My ticker is actually a day off..we leave in 10 days not 11! We added an extra day after I had already posted my ticker and I never changed it!

DH is not wanting me to really make any plans for this trips :rotfl2: He knows better than that! But I have not talked his ear off about them....yet!

I know that we are going to spend tons of time at MK because that is our favorite park! I also want to go to EP for the H&G booths.

Our biggest challenge is going to be arrival day. We arrive at 8 PM. From what I have read it will be best for us to get our luggage ourselves then head to ME. After we get to CBR we are going to head over to HS to activate our Military tickets and our photopass+. Hopefully we will get in a ride a ride or 2 since it is open to midnight. As long as I get ToT and RnRC in I will be good to go. Yes there are other rides that I would like to do at HS but as long as I get those 2 in I am good to go. But if we don't that is fine we will just go back on another day.

I know that we will probably not get to do everything that we want to do since we will only be there until Wednesday. We fly out very early on Thurs and will not have any park time that day at all :sad1:

Welcome. That is a good plan. I think the Merida meet will be your biggest time wait, unless demand for Merida has decreased. Last year, we ate lunch in line while we waited for her.

Day 1* (Fri): Arrival; Check-i and explore AKL; Lunch (if flight is early enough) at EoS or AMC Fork and Screen; DTD; Dinner at Boma; Free time.

Day 2* (Sat): Pre-RD Breakfast at CP; MK touring; para-sailing/ food and wine or food and wine/ RP driving experience; Dinner at CM; MK touring/ EMH park touring.

Looks good. Here is my Epcot Plan, but I spend all day there. Without an ADR:

Soarin FP
Soarin
Living with the Land
Nemo ride
Aquarium time
Turtle Talk with Crush (without wait)
Return with Soarin FP
Maybe get another Soarin FP depending on time
Living with the Land (unless wait)
QS in Land (Sunshine seasons)
Circle of Life
Free picture with Disney Visa at Innovations (unless line)
Or Character meet n greet (hopefully, everyone else is eating lunch)
GM test track FP
Ellen's Universe of Energy
Mission Space (Orange usually has no wait)
World Showcase - Mexico boat ride, Norway boat ride, and countries - France has a good movie to sleep in as well as Norway
Walk up for ADR at country or call ahead. If F&W, eat around the world
Test Track FP or Soarin FP
Spaceship Earth
Siemens games and pictures of Spaceship Earth
Illuminations

I'm afraid you're probably right. DS and I might run off and hit SM and another ride in TL.

DD has bright red curly hair. I'm trying to talk her into dressing as Merida but her favorites are Cinderella and Rapunzel with Aurora a distant third. :confused3

This is how I would play it:confused3

Grab a FP for Peter Pan, then get in line for Merida, then use FP for Peter Pan (if it is in the time on FP), HM, then head to the Mountains, grab a FP for either Splash or BTM whatever one has the longer wait, if it's not backed up yet, you might be able to use the FP as soon as you get off the other, if not hit JC or POTC, Or even Country Bear, but I would save Country Bear & Tiki Room for a rest time, after completing Frontier & Adventureland, but like I said if you can go back to do CBJ & TR later when you need to rest I would save it, Do lunch but before you do grab a FP for Buzz or SM, after lunch your FP may be ready to use, if not hit the speedway or Carousel of progress, get a FP for the other that you did not do, and hit either COP or Speedway whichever one you didn't do. For the other rides in Fantasyland I would try to do them during a parade, since they run it twice, unless you are going to both it gives you some short line times in Fantasyland, then do any of the sit down and rest attractions you didn't get to, you might end up with some time to do some rides twice:banana:

With the new Fantasyland expansion, IMO now at RD that area is going to be a magnet for guests, with Tomorrowland being a run off since most people tend to here right by habit:rolleyes1

It sounds like a lot of walking around, but if you save even 5 or 10 minutes each ride by the end of the day you could have a couple extra hours:worship:, also pay attention to ride wait times as you go by, if something has a low wait time, go on it since it might be longer as the day goes on:thumbsup2

I usually gain a few hours during the day and that is my main reason for getting Park Hoppers, I spend my extra bonus time getting a head start in other park

Not saying you still might catch some evil eye if you leave and have some Dad Son time, I've learned that when it comes down to it either way you will lose, but on the other hand, A hasty retreat is better then a bad stand::yes::

I'd much rather hear that I went and did something with DS (who is probably not going to want to be there:sad:) while DD was at BBB, then hear we went on a ride and her hair got messed up 20 mins before breakfast after spending $$$ and he wanted to get in a ride:confused3

Got to go with the lesser of the evils :thumbsup2

Too bad she doesn't want to dress like Merida that would be a Great pic
