Once we arrive, if I find I'd like to make a few more ressies, what's the easiest? If I call the WDW Dine folks, can they tell me what restaurants have a window of availability on a certain date for lunch or dinner? That would be so much easier than me asking over and over again, this place or that place.

Thanks in advance!

No, they don't have access to what is open generally. They can only seach one restaurant at a time.

Maybe conceirge can do that?

That's a great suggestion, thanks! We're staying at Moderates, and I think they both have concierge service. Problem solved! (Based on availability, of course.)

Just an FYI, you can go into ANY resort and use their conceirge front desk ressie area. I was staying at the Swan and we were exploring the Beach Club...DH decided he wanted to try the Cape May breakfast one day so we went up to the desk, told them we were staying at the Swan and the CM said no prob, I can help you.

You can also go to Guest Services at any of the parks.

Do the guest information boards at the parks (I'm thinking Epcot and MK) with wait times to attractions also list restaurants that are full for reservations?

Not on the boards that list attraction wait times. Yet in MK and in EPCOT, I know they have a "sandwich board sign" inside Guest Services that shows which restaurants are full and which have availability. In MGM there is a seperate little booth that has the same info for that park.

Ok, that's what I was thinking of... I distinctly remember seeing one at MK for sure, but couldn't remember where it was.

You can also press the WDW-Dinning button or press 55 on you're in room phone and you will be connnected to a WDW Cast Member who can try to make last minute ADR's for you.

Conceirge did it for us! We made a last minute trip to WDW on Jan 1, decided to go on Christmas day. We got there with no ADRs, family of 5 and the conceirge staff made dinner and lunch ressies for us for everyday!

There is a great example of still getting ADR's for everyday of you're trip and getting them all at the last minute, without having to call 180 days out.

The computer program that is used to search for reservations does have the capacity to search all restaurants for availability. Sometimes the people at the restaurants aren't properly trained on this program, so I would definitely recommend going to the concierge. '
