Does anyone know what time the Resort/Park buses start running in the morning? My DBF and I will be staying All Star Movies in December but want to schedule a breakfast ADR at Chef Mickey's one morning which is at the Contemporary...So basically we will need to take a bus to MK, then the monorail to Chef Mickeys. Any ideas or maybe a better way to do this?

There are early morning breakfast busses. The MK area bus starts before 6:30AM. For Chef Mickeys, IF YOUR ADR IS more than 1 hour earlier than MK opens (e.g. MK opens at 9AM and your ADR is at 8 or earlier), tell the driver you need to get to the CR. He MAY be able to drop you off right at the CR.

Be out at the bus stop 45-50 minutes before your ADR. This will give you plenty of time to get to your ADR 95% of the time. The extra time will be needed for the other %% to take care of unexpected delays.

In my experience, the park buses start running between 6:45am and 7am... Generally the MK bus is up and running by 6:45am and the others start right around 7am...

For breakfast reservations at the Contemporary prior to MK's offical opening time you can board the MK bus and tell the driver you have breakfast at the Contemporary, they will drop you off there. Once the park opens you will need to take the monorail or walk, but prior to park opening, they will accomodate breakfast reservations :)

If you post this on the transportation board you will definetly get the experts to answer...

Eventhough the Contemporary would be the next stop after getting on the Monorail from the Magic Kingdom, it might be faster to walk to the Contemporary because the bus station is close to the walkway. However if you see the Monorail already at the station it would be faster then walking it, that's if you get there before it leaves. Either way you can't go wrong with getting to the Contemporary from the Magic Kingdom, so have fun.
