WDW Bus Service to D'town Disney

Just a couple quick questions for the transportation experts.

Dropping off a car the 1st day @ the Hilton.
-- Is the walk over to DTD a reasonable one, or is that a short cab ride ?

Need to get Disney transportation back to WL after the afternoon at DTD
-- Where does the WDW pick up at DTD ?
-- How much transportation time should I factor in to get back to WL ?

The Hilton is directly across the street from DTD. There is a transportation area at DTD (far end near Rainforest Cafe area) or near Pleasure Island (.3 mile walk through DTD) You can pick up almost any bus there or make a transfer. I'd allow a good .5 hr or so for transportation back to WL. Buses don't run as often as they do to the parks. May want to pull up a map of DTD on Disney web site to be sure of exact location of transportation area.

There's a DTD map I pulled up on http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/maps.html
The bus area in the upper right corner of the DTD map is the area you need. Did hear more that the wait and travel times from DTD may be around 45min or so. It's been a few years since we used on-site transportation. Good Luck!
