I remember reading that there was a "floater" bus around the BW area at night. Can anyone confirm this? I plan on closing Jelly Rolls one night and it would be great to not have to pay for a cab.

In December we left JR about midnight and caught a bus in front of the boardwalk inn/ villas entrance. I believe the bus's run until about 1 hour after DTD close's so you'd be safe. You would take a bus to DTD and then to your resort. Susan

I don't think you can get "to" DTD much after 12:30. Even though Pleasure Island closes at 2am, the last shows are really over about 12:30 and they pretty much go into a departure only mode.

So if you plan on closing down Jellyrolls (which is open till 2am also, right??) you are pretty much stuck with a taxi.

(For that reason above, Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance will never see the crowds PI gets, cause there is no way to get "home".

If anyone else has a different experience, please speak up.

I have never heard of a floater bus. We did take a taxi after a very late night at jelly rolls. It was worth it for us as one of our guest's had a little to much FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :drinking1 :rotfl2: . Susan

If I recall correctly, there is a floater bus around 2am at the Boardwalk.

However, I am not 100% sure if this still exists. Personally, at that hour... a taxi might be a good investment.
