WDW Brides vs. FL Humidity

Okay, I've got to know, how did all of you Disney brides tackle this? I am from CA and while it can be humid here, I know it's no where near the humidity of FL.

Were there any special tricks or products that you used? Does the Disney cosmetology team have any miracle solutions?

If you've ever seen the episode of Friend's where they go to Mexico, when Monica's hair is C R A Z Y from the humidity, that's me!

I'm just a tad paranoid about this and any tips are greatly appreciated!

Both my mother and I have hair that goes wacky in the humidity. Disney Cosmo did our hair the day of the wedding. I wore mine up, they sprayed it like crazy, and it still looked perfect when took my hair down that night. My mom wore hers down, and the hair spray they used kept her hair looking perfect all day!

We used Disney Cosmo also and not one of us had a problem. They did such a GREAT job.

I had Irene do my hair from disney it was perfect I had it up and it stayed in place the whole day if you use disney ask for Irene she is lovely I just let her do what ever she wanted as I didn't know how to wear it and I couldn't have been happier.

I don't know how they do it - but Disney cosmo gets everything to "stay" all day! We got married in June 2003 and the day was HOT! I felt like I was melting while Randy Chapman took photos after our wedding- but everything stayed in place and lasted from morning til evening! They did use a lot of spray on the hair and also a spritz of something on the makeup that helps it hold up better. I usually have hair that goes crazy at the first sign of humidity and I had no problems at all!

My naturally curly hair did great with what Disney used to hold it, so did my MOH and Mom. The makeup doesn't cry off either, I was given a face wash sample to remove it, it was wonderful. We had rain as we actually left from the WP to EPCOT and it didn't hurt me a bit!

I agree with minnie24...Irene is fantastic! I have natural curl in my hair and it frizzes like there is no tomorrow...and my hair was perfect. Even though we were married in October it was HOT! 85 at 4pm and 83 at 5pm when we got married...the hairspray she used was wonderful and the fixation spray for your makeup was fantastic!
