I'm hurting big time for a piece of the magic. I need something to hold me over. Can you recommend a good book about WDW - behind the scenes, secrets, something fun? :smickey:

The Imagineers Guide to MK, Epcot and DAK are three great books! They are very informative and small enough to carry to the parks during your next trip!

Another WONDERFUL book, not about WDW, but about Walt Disney is "How to Be Like Walt". I really wish he would have lived longer so he could have brought more magic to the world. I still tear up now when I see a picture of him.

:)

I agree about the Imagineering Field Guides and How to Be Like Walt. I'd also like to recommend Walt Disney Imagineering, a fairly large book that covers the Imagineering department from the early days of Disneyland to the present. Great read if you're interested in just how the magic is made.

My favorite Disney book is The Kingdom Keepers by Ridley Pearson. It's a kids fiction book set in WDW. The sequel just came out too. So if you want to try something a little different--go to your local library!! No sense wasting $$$ based on a couple of reviews--you can always go out and purchase your favorite!
