WDW Bakeries

The one in France is the best. A distant second is the Boardwalk bakery, followed by Norway.

Hi All,
I'm trying to convince my family to give up our 7:30am Kona breakfast ressies as I'm worried it will be tough to be at MK prior to rope drop.
I thought I could make the blow a little less by saying that one of our party can stop at the MK Bakery on the way in and buy some breakfast items to share.
What items do you suggest...both sweet and savory are options.

THanks,
Jill

Another breakfast option would be the pretzel in Tommorrowland... has cream cheese in it... it is sweet and I like it... it is what I usually get since we head 1st thing to Tommorrowland.

But, I didn't realize that they had hot breakfast... I don't usually stop in the mornings. But here is a little of what they have:

Is the bakery in France -- okay, fine, the "Boulangerie Patisserie" :rolleyes2 -- open when the IG opens to allow guests in to Future World, or do you have to wait until the World Showcase opens at 11?

You have to wait until 11.

Another great bakery is the one in Sunshine Seasons in the Land. Lots of these great treats count as a desert for your CS meal!

I love the Creme Brule and the Strawberry Shortcake! :goodvibes

Yes, unfortunately. It used to be a great place to eat breakfast back in the late 80s, when Future World and World Showcase opened at the same time. However, the first hour after it opens is relatively uncrowded.

The Boulangierie in France has the BEST pastries. It's not good when we stay at BWV or BCV because my DH wants to go to Epcot constantly to get fresh pastries!

Definitely France!

France-everything!

Cinnamon rolls at Main St. Bakery

I usually stay at the Boardwalk and I don't like that bakery.
I seem to always get cakes that are still partially frozen-like I could separate each cake layer and the filling comes up in a strip.
I'll admit to not having gotten anything there in a while because it was always like that, so I'll be willing to give it another try when we're there in October-what's good there?

I have to agree with you about the BW Bakery. (We usually stay at the BW , too.) The selection is limited and not nearly as good as the pastries at the French bakery. I see so many people, including us, taking out pastries in he little white boxes from there to the BW at night before closing. :)

BTW, we did order a 12" cake from there for a special occasion at the FF. It was pretty good and served at room temperature. The muffins are pretty good there, too.
