First two weeks of Aug 2016 park hours...This is what i would expect hours to be similar too.

MK 9a-9p I would guess later here, probably more like 11p
EP 9a-9p. EMH 8a-9a These are pretty well the normal summer hours for EP
HS 9a-8:30p This is hard to say, but also probably later, maybe 10
AK 9a-10p Since this is the first time with Avatar open, no one can really say what will happen with AK

AK 9a-10p Hard to say here, I would think the park would be open later, perhaps 11, because of all of the nighttime entertainment, but with this being the first time Avatar is open, I don't think anyone can really say with any kind of certainty.

I would expect that the above guesses should pretty well hold true for the length of your stay.

Yes they will almost certainly extend but no one will be able to tell you the exact times on particular days until they are released. DAH will probably have to be figured in too.

I will guess MK will change to close at 11:00 and maybe even 12:00 on some nights . Last year during that time MK was open 9:00am to 11:00pm and 8:00am to 12:00am a few nights. AK was open from 9:00am to 11:00pm

Thanks all! The reason I ask is because I'm planning ADRs on the DDP. Would like to book HDDR cat. 1 (8:30pm) but we have a rental ECV and relying on Disney transportation. Don't want to be stuck with no way to get back to Pop resort.

I'm pretty sure FW provides buses to resorts for the 8:30 HDDR.

Well, my FP 60 day mark is coming up this weekend, so I'm guessing the hours I see are what I'm getting. One Epcot evening EMH, an MK one that I'm going to buy another day for, and the rest days that all parks close by 10pm.

Where did you get these hours? We are coming at the same time and the site says that on 8/6 HS has EMH, 8/7 AK EMH, and 8/8 Epcot EMH. Where is the EMH at MK on the 7th? And HS EMH on the 5th? Just curious.

A---please see original post date. Those WERE the posted times on that date.

B---notice in my last post (today) my pointing out about EVENING hours and NIGHT emh. Don't really care for AM emh as I see that time as more of the stroller-pushing, kid-packing, rider-swapping crowds than at the late EMH.

We arrive on the 11th and it is showing MK has morning EMH on the 11th a Friday with AK morning EMH Saturday, Sunday the 13th is HS morning EMH, Monday AK morning EMH, Tuesday Epcot night EMH and Wednesday MK night EMH.

I know I'm not liking the closing hours for AK and MK. Wish they could update earlier for when we have to make FP's.
I would like to see Rivers of Light and visit the Pandora land at night.
I wanted to make a night time FP for Pandora but with a closing of 9:30 and Rivers of Light being at 9:15 that is not going to happen.

@maryj11 Yeah for the past few years my friends and i always counted on MK and Epcot having super late emh at least one night each during our trips and we have been during June, July, and August.

They often update August hours in July. This has been consistent the last two years. Doesnt help us while planning our FP, super annoying

Yeah, we are going to be there pretty much the same days as the OP. I see that the park hours have changed a bit since I made the ADR's. We are pretty much only hopping twice during the trip. Once in order to see the nighttime entertainment at DHS rather than Epcot and once to visit another park to be chosen on the day of after we have done all that we are interested in doing at DHS in the morning. Keep your eyes open. Summer hours often do change, even as late as July and then again sometimes on the day of. Prepare to be flexible.
