We own at VGC. Looking to go to WDW with friends (4 adults 3 kids total). Looking to book a 2br Oct 23-29 (Sun arrival, Sat departure). Flexible on location, but ideal would be AK, BCV, or WL. What's the chance of getting a 2br at any of these at the 7mo mark? Thanks!

AK would be your best shot, WL second, and BCV third for your time frame and calling right at the 7 month mark.

I would agree with the order posted by Disneycouple99. If you don't get any of those, you can waitlist the most likely (AKV) and book at another resort, then switch when (or if) your waitlist comes through.

Good luck.

I booked 2 2br rooms at the AKL Kidani Village yesterday for a trip in June (6 months). The CM told me Jambo House was also available.

btw, that is during the food and wine festival at EPCOT. both the BCVs and BWVs have few openings at the 7 month mark.
you would definately have a better chance at the other 2 options; you can book at one of those, and waitlist for BCV if you would prefer .(just don't get anyone's hopes up - it is definately a long shot. we waitlisted for 3 nights in a BWV/BW view studio morning of the 7 month mark for our oct 2010 trip, and it never came through).
hth :)

I agree, AKV, VWL, and probably near impossible at BCV -- better luck at BWV. Much easier at SSR and OKW. You could book whatever is available on your list and try waitlisting for something else too.

BCV will probbaly be difficult if it is during food and wine. You should not have a problem at AKV.

Also remember that the Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge are the 2 smallest DVC resorts at Walt Disney World. They book up quickly just because of the fewer amount of rooms. You should have no trouble at Animal Kingdom Villas.

Have a great trip! :thumbsup2
