WDW as your birthday gift..Celebration ideas?

I want to go in February but because of work...I can't. Though no gifts will be given to me until I go to WDW since it is my birthday present

I'm a huge scrapbooker and I think it would be neat in there. I collect almost everything!

I think lieing to get special treatment is wrong. But hey it's your karma and your decision. Wearing a pin that says "Today is my Birthday" or telling the CMs that "Today is my birthday" hoping to get something special would be something that I wouldn't do.

Now if you want to have a nice dinner for yourself and order a Birthday cake with it that's reasonable. You're not lieing and you're paying for the special cake out of your own pocket.

Anywayz.. I wasn't expecting anything special since my mom had one on our trip (her b-day is August 5 and we were a week before)..and no one even wished her happy birthday

I'm a scrapbooker too, so I know how you feel. I'd want the button too, but...... 4 months is a bit of a stretch. You COULD still get the button though for your scrapbook and just not wear it.

I was there on my actual B-Day twice (see trips below) and I got a birthday pin, alot of people wished me happy birthday which was really fun and the barbershop quartet on Main Street stopped me and sang happy birthday (a trip highlight) and I gotta say I would have felt weird if my birthday had really been 4 months ago. That's just me though.....

I disagree with the others. If the trip is your BIRTHDAY TRIP and you really aren't celebrating your birthday until then -- I say PICK A DAY, WEAR THE PIN and CELEBRATE!!!!!!!!! Smile alot -- it is your UNBIRTHDAY! Just think - you really couldn't make it the REAL DAY but this is your SPECIAL TRIP for your BIRTHDAY!
