I hear there's some kind of WDW app.? Can I get it for an i-pod, or do I have to have an i-phone? Does it cost anything? Is there a website where I can find out more info.?

Search in the app store for Disney Mobile Magic. I got it for my iphone, but I have Verizon (don't know if that makes a difference).

I'll try it in two weeks!

Thanks. I don't have an i-phone, and was hoping to use an i-pod. I'll check it out.

I have an android phone and it works on mine. I looked in the app store and found it there.

I just downloaded it and it seems really cool!! I'm going to be playing around with it for awhile!! LOL!

Me too! It seems really comprehensive. :thumbsup2 I can't believe that more people aren't talking about it, but maybe it's taking a while for the masses to find it.

I have been playing with it for days now! My daughter and I check the wait times everyday (even though we are still 3 months away from our trip!!!!!) seems really informative - cant wait to see what it actually does in the parks!! Disney now has their own wifi throughout the parks so that will also be helpful! Enjoy!

Hah!! I'm glad that I'm not the only one that does this!! My DH thinks that I'm nuts for checking the times while I'm at home!!

I was playing around with it yesterday and made the mistake of showing him how we can make dining reservations. He told me, "So you don't have to make them 180 days out."

LOL!!

Lol my hubby feels the same!!!!!! Every time I say "OMG this ride has a 70 minute wait!" he says "it's July!" lol then asks why I'm bothering. Although he can't stop talking Disney either!!!!!!! They are just as interested, just don't want us to know!!!! Lol have a great time!!!

for during a disney trip I suggest an app called "Undercover Tourist". Get the free version not the paid. It world on both android and iphone.
This app will show park hours, including extra magic hours. It also tells you wait times and predicts how busy a park will be.

We have the "My Disney Experience", but had "Disney World Magic Guide" for awhile now. One thing right off I've noticed is that the My Disney doesn't have a place to put your existing dining reservaions, at least I haven't found it that is. Not sure which I would like/use better but the latter so far seems easier and is a bit more usefull.

I have sprint and Disney Mobile Magic works on my iPhone too! Its a really cool app, lots of info!!! Haven't used it in the park yet but will in November!!!

It would only work on the iPod if there is a wifi signal i believe...
There are free apps out there that are just park maps though too which I don't believe you would need wifi for...

They are continuing to work on aspects to it. The plan is for it to link to your existing ADR's like when you sign in to the WDW website. It does look much better on the iPad than the iPhone naturally. I'd expect more and more features on it as we work towards all the next-gen stuff......

All on property resorts have free in room wifi and currently MK has park wide wifi...I read that entire property wifi (all parks, DTD, water parks) by 2013!

Sent from my Toshiba Thrive 32GB using the DISBoards App

Does anyone know if the new "My Disney Experience" will become available for the Droid products? I looked and it appears only Apple Hardware will except the new app. I use the "Disney Mobile Magic" through Verizon now. I hope they are not going to limit this to only Apple users :worried:

From what I read it stated that it should be coming out for Droid and windows based os in the next few months.

I got the my Disney experience for my iPhone as well as the mobile magic n I'm not really sure how much difference there is. MDE is hooked up to your Disney.com account and you can make reservations... That's cool...
