Hi, every body. I'm new to the 'DIS' but have been a fan of Disney World for years. I'm finally purchasing a Premium Annual Pass...I travel down to Florida one week out of each month on business and have decided to take advantage of the opportunity.

Anyway - does anyone have some recommendations for me and my two Weight Watcher friends who will be coming with me in September?

We plan on being there for six days, visiting all the parks, etc. But we probably won't want to spend over $30 on any one meal (per person, that is).

DH and me found out that we really only gain a pound or two if anythinng on the DDP while at WDW. We had really planned on counting point while there but once we got there we couldn't be bothered. I think all the walking equals out.

I will be finding out firsthand in December if WW and Disney are compatible but before WW I did not gain any weight while vacationing there. I am not sure if the walking has anything to do with it but I know that I never eat appetizers and dessert every day at home, indulge in wine at every meal and a few cocktails here and there so something was working in my favor.

I would just suggest what our WW leader says, make good choices, have what you want but stop when you are satisfied and have fun!

As a fellow WW member I was wondering the same thing.

Since I'm going during the free-dining I'm afraid I might splurge one too many times.

How do other WW members create a happy balace between enjoying the great food and not over-doing it?

I just returned from two days at the beach and then five days at WDW. I didn't even try to stay on WW while there. I gained 1.6 lbs. I am now back to WW. I wish there were somewhere to get points values or nutrition info, but I probably would eat whatever I wanted while I was there anyway. Disney is very good about having salads and fresh fruits and vegetables at the counter service restaurants. Good luck!
