WDW and cruise 2 weeks in may 05???

Hey wanting to go to wdw and do the cruise in may 2005 with 3 adults 2 kids ( 29,34,59, 14, and 6).

I know staying of site the first week and going to the parks will save money but i want to stay at the park and do the cruise the second week ( i thinks it s called the land see option). I dont know the cost of tickets vs an annual pass option...what would be cheaper???

this is for 7 days in the park. I know the annuals dont start until you activate at the park, so i could buy those this tax day instead of waiting...

any suggestions?

Sounds like you are wanting to do what we are doing at the end of January. The land and Sea package is a 7 day package in total and I think you will have to pick the 7 day eastern or 7 day western cruise if you want to do 14 days ie; one week at WDW and one week on the cruise.

I found it to be cheapest to purchase my tickets to get into the parks at the Disney Store, book the hotel directly through Disney using CAA/AAA discount, fly out of Buffalo ( we live in Toronto ) and book the cruise through a TA. Beware when bookin the cruise - I was quoted $5000.00 CDN for the Eastern Cruise-7 days for four people including port charges and another agent was able to give me the same week for $3400.00 CDN

yea we've down sized my dreams,

thinkin just me my wife and then to be 5 yr old ( he's 4 right now and already 64 pounds and already 4 feet tall.)

just quoted a 7 day land sea 4/3 night respectivly for 2650.00? for cat 10 for may 15-22 2005, I'll tac on 2 nights off property to have a place to stay after we fly in and go to universal for 1 day. so im floating 3500 as enough to go, fly, and play with and bring some home.

Of course in full DIS style i'll try to beat this by going peicemil but hey i've got numbers to go by...=D

It'll be great, my family in disney world for may star wars weekends...the same week episode III starts..=D thats what my wife gets for not believing in me on trip planning...hehehehehe

Im gonna be on a high planning this like stitch is after destruction!!!

If you are a DC member I would buy the AP's now while you can still get the discount. I just bought a child AP and a adult AP for our June trip so I could get in that last DC discount before its gone .
You might consider staying at a Universal hotel for those 2 night and the day you do Universal. They have wonderful hotels and you can usually find a discounted room throught the entainment book or find one at hotelkingdom.com They have FOTL access with your room key that is awesome--especially if there are crowds there.
