Hi

Please let me know if this post is in the wrong place.

I am looking for some ideas or people's prior experiences.

We would like to combine a week or so at WDW (we have done WDW before) with an 'activity' week, for example something like a tennis camp at a resort. Anyone done something similar? In the UK, we have companies (like Mark Warner, Neilson, Club Med) that specialise in activity holidays for families (activities for adults and childcare clubs with nannies for young kids) - is there anything similar in the US?

My partner has just learned to dive so it would be great if I could find some diving sites too. I know we could do Key Largo etc. but it would be good to find somewhere relatively close to Orlando if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Typhoon Lagoon has some diving - but nothing like you want (I think) - you can also go diving in the Living Seas in EPcot (expensive) - surprise - there is alot of diving -
use google.com - ask for scuba diving near WDW - you get a list to start with.

can't recommend any of them - but there is also reviews on the google list.

We seen people diving at the Living Seas aquarium at Epcot with the fishes & sharks. But that is at Disney, not off site.

If you're looking for an "all inclusive" kind of holiday, you could consider taking a Caribbean cruise. Child care is available while on board and almost every port will offer some kind of diving and snorkeling for those who don't dive.

As for just diving, my DD (in my avatar) and DH dove in the Living Seas in Epcot. They have also used Tanks A Lot Scuba Diving in Clearwater (west of Orlando in the Gulf of Mexico): http://www.tanksalotdivecharter.com/Home_Page.php . They provide dive charters with Dive Masters and equipment.

Our favorite trip is to spend a week in the parks, and a week on a Disney cruise. We took the Western Caribbean trip, and were able to dive in Cozumel, Gran Cayman, and Jamaica. Very relaxing way to finish the trip.
