WDW 35th Anniversary

Will WDW do anything special next year for the 35th anniversary?Thanks.

I would be very surprised if they did not. They seem to always be celebrating one anniversary/birthday or another.

Man I forgot WDW was gonna be 35 next year. WOW! LOL! Well I don't know what they'll be doing, but I bet they'll be doing something (they've done something for like the past 5 years or something, that I can remember). I would assume if Expedition Everest doesn't open before the end of the Happiest Celebration then it will be part of the 35th .

Oh I hope the do something wonderful....I loved the 25th anniversary celebration "Remember The Magic"!! I don't know if anyone remembers the special Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks they had...with Walts voice it was magical...brought tears to my eyes!!!!

It seems right now they are still hyping the Happiest Celebrations on Earth, so we probably won't hear anything about the 35th Celebration for a while. HCOE is an 18-month celebration, so it should still be going or just ending when WDW turns 35 next October. I'm hoping for at least a new parade or two.

Yup, according to my email from Disney guest relations, the Happiest Celebration officially ends Sept. 30, 2006. They had no idea (quoting here) "when or if the Castle decorations will come down".
