You seriously want pictures of our luggage? I tell you my packing aint pretty and I fear what Di has in her case. She has 'beauty' equipment thats either for extracting hair from you or the truth!!!!

Glad you let me into the 'circle of trust' on the cupcake, I will document every step of my hunt culminating in me devouring every last crumb of any that cross my path..........yummy

We drive down through Thursday night to get to the airport for our flight at noon on Friday. I will only really relax once I am on the plane and we are cruising at 38,000 feet and I have a drink in my hand, just the one mind you.......dont wanna give the air marshall cause for concern.

I should probably go and do all the wee things I have been putting off till now, will save a mad panic this time tomorrow which I am sure would not amuse Little Miss Organised over on the couch!

Wow, you will be here Friday! Ok, not here in my home, but here in Florida, just a little over an hour away from me. I'm excited, so I can only imagine how excited you are.

So, will you take your laptop and give us updates or do we have to wait until you get back?

I think we will all miss the two you of communicating through the Dis. Will you text each other at the parks, while you are standing next to each other?

We are taking the laptop with us, DH is planning to do some 'live' updates I believe.
As for the communicating in the parks - he is talking about getting walkie-talkies! As if he thinks he's getting any time away from me...I mean us, his darling family

I have to admit the eyelash tinting sounds scary but if you do not have to put on mascara each day it might be worth it. I have serious eye issues. Like if anyone gets near them I'll lash out in a rage or like a caged mongoose so I'm not quite certain I could be as brave as you and do that.

Link under the sink! Why are there always water issues when planning a vacation. Not cool. ;I hope it has been repaired and the crying is over with.

I was pretty unsure about the tinting initially - I have childhood memories of my mum and some of the neighbours all getting beauty treatments in the house....many of them got 'electric blue tints. Aaaahhh, 80's fashion memories...
I go for a very sensible and tasteful brown/black tint. I left the electric blue mascara behind in 1988.

Good news - the leak under the sink isn't too bad, once we get the new dishwasher connected it'll be fine.

Oh I just realized my cousin Karin will be there the same time you are. If you see someone who looks like me walking around it isnt. I do wish I could take over her body though and meet your family. Sounds a little creepy so I'll move on.......

So now we've moved on from stalking to body snatching?

Ok I am going to have the cupcake update today (hopefully) but I'll come over here and share with you that the magical cupcakes were in our POP food court the whole time. Little did I know that so they very well may be in your food court too.

The Poly did have them at Captain cooks but they had whipped cream frosting on them and not the delicious buttercream of my dreams so dont go there.

The Boardwalk sweet shop had some that I nicknamed "half pints" because the cupcake was literally half tall as the one in POP and the frosting not as thick but still had the same taste. Whenever you see a cupcake just make sure you ask if it has buttercream frosting and you'd be all set to get the "magical cupcake"

Here is a picture in case you need a point of reference or want to print it out to tape to the back of the chair in front of you for the long plane ride.

I know its not the best picture but photography was not on my mind at the moment. Jeff had to tell me to slow down my dive into the cupcake and take a picture for my report! They are huge, larger than Jeff's fist around. Its like a mini birthday cake!

Last I heard Roger was living quietly under an assumed name in South America. He no longer dances.

What I should be doing tomorrow is a little light housework and final packing in the morning then having a nap in the afternoon, before showering and getting ready and then packing the car.
What is actually happening is I will get them off to school, run around like a headless chicken in the morning. Then going to the clinic to work my afternoon session, go along to the pool to meet up with DH and kids at swimming lesson. Home via Asda to get dinner.....shower while pizza cooking, shout at kids to hurry up eating....last minute packing then put luggage in car getting all hot, sweaty and bothered, set off on journey, most likely having to return to the house at least once after realising I've forgotten something vital.......

I've secretly coded my cupcake post so that only you and grumpy may see it. Others on this thread who read my TR too cannot. They will in fact see a rerun of Happy Days in its place. It is very delicious and I sure hope they have the right buttercream version at your resort!

What do you do at a clinic? Is it a cupcake clinic because I could be on board with that.

I think all of us are usually chickens with our heads cut off the day before a trip so you will just look normal dont worry!

He lies, I don't have a truth machine.....I don't need one.....threats are much more effective
We're heading off about 9pm tomorrow, it should take us about 8-9 hours. Hope to make it to London for about dawn.
Our flight is at 1255, but they like you to check in at least 3 1/2 hours earlier.
We'll probably get there far too early, but I'm factoring in for every possible delay......nothing is stopping me from getting this holiday!!!!!

Unfortunately, it is not a cupcake clinic It's a Well Woman/Family Planning Clinic, and I'm really regretting NOT having taken tomorrow off as Annual Leave.... If only it WAS a cupcake clinic

I'm sure you have been checking the weather, but this is my last weather report for you :

The lowest low for the next 10 days is 61 and the highs are all 78-81. Today it is only 63 for a high. In the sun it feels really good and not a cloud in the sky. Just gorgeous. Wish I were at AK right now because it would feel great. Oh, and only a few days have a chance of rain, this coming Sunday and Monday have the greatest chances, but it is only 40%. Right now it seems to rain once a week, so you have missed the rain showers everyday!

All this talk of cupcakes is making me hungry.

Have a great trip, you really do deserve it!

Its 1:20pm right now. Diane is busy checking-in online but I am staying very quiet on the couch as the sounds from the main pc are not exactly relaxed and calm.

Update! We are now booked in, 2 in one row and 2 in the next. Might be a blessing as the kids can niggle each other sometimes.

Ah, seperate seats might very well be a good thing then. We flew back like that and it was nice. I would imagine on a, what 8 hour flight, that kiddos can find a lot of fun annoying the you know what out of eachother. Mine sure would then somebody would get threatened to be thrown off the plane and all hell would break loose midflight.
